Regretfully I already knew and had these, but thanks for the effort!
I will keep looking!
If there is anyone else who may have some Blitzen Benz pictures you never really see a lot, then I am interested! I am specifically looking for the Benz as driven by Erle in 1909 at the Frankfurt Kilometer run in August 1909 (according to some a GP body, according to Braunbeck - with picture - a streamlined body), similarly for the September 1909 Semmering Hill climb where the same question needs confirmation (I have a picture allegedly from that Hill climb, but there is no exhaust manifold on the left or right side of the car). Then Hemery went to Tervuren (near Brussels) for a kilometer run, which was in a streamlined 200hp Benz, but I would like to find out if the car had any markings or race numbers.
A month later, on November 8, Hemery set speed records on the Brooklands track, but the only picture I have ever seen of that vehicle at that point in history is the one where he is on the starting line, and only the right side of the car is shown. I would really like to se the left side of the car to get confirmation that the exhaust manifold was there with a muffler at chassis height.
A couple of years later, this Blitzen Benz was touring the US in the Ernie Moross troupe, and was joined in 1912 by Blitzen Benz #2, also called Jumbo Benz and touted to have 300hp, as was also painted on the side of the car in the one picture I have found of that particular vehicle. The driver is indicated to be "Wild" Bill Endicott.
I am looking for other photos of the second Blitzen Benz, and would very much like to find one where both are caught on film together! If America was as enthusiasstic about this as is sometimes stated, one would expect there to be such a picture somewhere!
Probably I am looking in the wrong places, archives etc..., so any suggestions as to where I might maybe find something more would be very welcome too!
Thanks in advance!
Arie

You know this photo is taken in Japan, it is in another time zone, so tomorrow in Japan is now in Europe, that is how I got this photo from tomorrow, simple as that.

Ickx held the lead on laps 19 and 20. He is fourth upon completion of lap 21.
It's lap 21.
Well, it could be lap 22...

Ah well.. of course sadly not with the protective clothing and the proper equipment as nowadays, but I sure would have done my hardest to help, but yes, it was a bad time for sure....

My recollection is that the Yardley BRM was the FIRST car to change the traditional 'team colors' for some commercial brand. Not just a sticker or two but the whole car.
Is this correct?

What year was Yardley BRM? Because Lotus had Golf Leaf colors but before even that you had the Team Gunston cars.

Those Alps are just 15 miles/24 km away. Chances are the trees of the Royal Park of Monza blocked your view of them, CSquared and naiboz.
