just wayched the start off the gp2, kimi and hami needs to stay left and cut the chicane or start at the back they cant afford risking that first corner, they are easily gonna make up the places, they can take one or two drivers a lap

I've seen on another website, that there is speculation that Massa has a partly "wet" set up on his car.....he was apparantly the slowest through the speed traps?..some 22kph slower than Kimi......and 7kph slower than everyone else....???

Should be an exciting topsy turvey race.......very much looking forward to this one.

Eh?

GP2 was held on a damp (but slightly drying) track on intermediate tyres. There was a light mist all race and the forecast is for the same all day - no downpours like yesterday but enough to keep the track damp.

Yeah I saw that too, a few laps with the F1 cars and it will be a dry line I think.

Poor DC it seems he's made that slot his own these days. Doesn't he also have 13 race wins as well?

I would not like being anywhere near DC knowing his crash-test records. Hopes he keeps it tidy today.

Is there any web cam with images of the circuit?

The track staying dry and perhaps Trulli pressing Massa to going off round Curve Grande would be exciting stuff, and for the race result too.

If it starts wet and dries out it will really help the 2-stoppers.

A real lottery now, Vettel might have a chance.

Massa nearly crashed on his lap out of the pits.

I'm not bitter in the slightest. I think Vettel did a fantastic job in the conditions presented to him. I do not think that tomorrows weather is cut and dried (no pun intended). I think it's a guessing game. Usually the bigger teams with the bigger budgets have more accurate info to make to take the "guess" out of it, but we shall see. I just cannot believe that Ferrari AND McLaren got it that wrong. It can happen so it's not out of the equation, but tomorrow will tell the true story if it's dry.

I do know one thing that is certain - Kimi and Lewis have not become crap wet weather drivers in the span of 6 days.

What do you think now?

Vettel sure made a fool out of you didn't he? And I couldn't find one post by you since the race. Bitter.

No it's called - WORK....it's an ugly word and actually may be banned

As I said Vettel did a great job in qualifying and proved that it was no fluke. Congrats to him and STR.

Sorry to sound gloaty or smug. All my point was all along was that STR/RBR would be quick in the wet or dry cause if they were hitting 327 in the wet that's not a "high downforce" setup. Vettel even said in the PC himself after the race that in the wet his straightline speed was "bloody" fast. I didn't care if the top teams had wet setup dry setup or anything else. Even now after the race I don't know if Kimi or Lewis's problem was setup or not. They were both quick in the dry but Lewis was very quick in the wet as well. So was Massa. And also Webber and Vettel were quick in both dry and the wet. Webber was quicker then Lewis in the final laps. It seems like it was more about managing tyres then anything else and about having the confidence to push. Maybe Kimi had a dryer setup as he was very quick at the end and worn inters on a dry track suits Ferraris "easy on tyres" chassic characteristic. Could Massa have gone quicker at the same stage if he hadn't settled for 6th? Of course there are a thousand factors other then tyres and downforce is one of them. Both in the wet more then anything else the driver plays a factor and Vettel exceeded expectations both in the quali and the race. It wasn't a fluke pole or a media lap or anything like that, had to be seen to be believed.
