A well known TNFer's car reflected in the air filter cover on an Austin 10.
Not exactly original, that air filter!

Any close ups of Mantas ?
Sorry I have to pass on this request.
The Manta is to common for me to take pictures (unless it's a TE2800) since I have both models running in the family.
My brother has a Manta A and my nephew has a B. I've been thinking about having a photo session with both cars but just haven't got around to do it.

Manta A was the first Left Hand Drive car I ever drove and the first car I ever drove at an indicated 165 kph, legally, so I have a particular soft spot for them

A few details from Mr Ferrets GT2,
a Lambretta (?),
a Lancia,
and an abstract view of Queen Square from the bumper of a Jensen 541 at the Avenue Drivers Club meeting yesterday.

If you ignore the line through the middle, I think it says "annia."

What is this supposed to read? Appia?
Sorry to say this but this is IMHO a good example how not to do it. Or a good example for bad graphic design.
Must admit I read it as Aprila until you pointed out that it actually reads Appia

I'm not sure the 1977 Mazda 1000 I passed my test in had one of these in the back.
(Cray)fords finest sheet metal ?
Presumably aimed at the US market ?
K1, I think, which has been all the way to Johannesburg and back, though not necessarily overland.
More from the Avenue Drivers Club meeting yesterday here.

The Beaumonts Popemobile,
this Ford Cologne V4 powered a Saab, note the weights bolted to the top of the inner wing for extra traction,
spent much of the trial in the wheel tracks oldest vehicle taking part, driven by Ben Collings with 70 year old Roger in the passenger seat, which dated back to 1903,
Roger keeps an eye on the 9.25 litre 4 cylinder motor of his Mercedes Simplex.
A muddy time was had by all.
