Question for those much wiser, " Has anyone seen work signed , Basil ?" This afternoon I unearthed a simple cut away line drawing of the Rob Walker/Brooke Bond Oxo Lotus 72. As soon as I can get my coal fired scanner operational, I'll post it. Until then, you get the question.

Hello Anders, nice to know you are still with us! I had forgotten all about that Datsun Violet, but it was that, I think, that tempted Nissan to commission the R89C and then the Sunny GTiR, for which I also designed the colour scheme. It was slightly annoying that I had to cut away so much of 'my' colour scheme to show the internals!

I think not only Italian...I used to have an Opel Kadett of the B generation, which also had the fuel tank inside the rear wing/fender.

It probably depends on keyboard setup, mine is set on United States(International)

so I can get most special language glyphs æ and å

Thanks Robin nice to see the P4 as it was printed - I imagine Jim Allington was sent a copy of the magazine each time they used a cutaway, but I can't remember seeing any. The Theo Page must have had the body tint added by the magazine, I don't think I've seen any other cutaway of his treated like that. It is effective, but why blue? I've only ever seen red ones...

Yes Tony R&T did colour film a lot of cutaways, I'm working on Theo's Lotus 64 Indy turbine wedge right now.....and it is RED !

I was wrong it wasn't the STP Paxton, but the Theo Page Lotus 64 Indy turbine wedge.

In fact is it Lotus 56. Lotus 64 raced in 1968 year and was fitted with Ford V8 engine.

Thanks for the compliments. The camera was a Canon A540, 6 Mp using the Macro setting. I took them outdoors with a little sunlight.

I have been given a set of R & T's from 1957 to 1978, and evry now and then there are cutaways. There are several that Shell has used in their advertising.

That's odd - it definitely looks unfinished, did the Mystery Illustrator give up? Was he beaten by a deadline? You can see blank areas that were destined for more detail... Odd. The line-work reminds me of another cutaway, posted on this thread, but I haven't time at the moment to go through earlier pages. Who did the McLaren M6 Indycar?

I wondered if you might try to play with it.

I had the magazine under a weight all night trying to flatten it, but not very successfully. I wish that I had an 11" x 17" scanner, but I think that I know of a photo copier that can send copies by E mail.

Robin you can save the photo to a file, then go into the name and change the .TIFF to .jpg
Else open the scan in paint, and then click save as, then click the jpeg;jpg in the drop down menu.
