MCN/EBC Brakes Superstock - can anyone help?

I'm compiling a feature on the MCN/EBC Brakes Superstock Championship, which ran from 1985 to 1989, but am struggling to find results for the final 1989 season.

If memory serves me correctly, MCN pulled out of sponsoring the 1989 Championship, leaving EBC as title sponsor, and the races were held at stand alone meetings rather than with the British Championship. There were no manufacturers teams (ie Loctite Yamaha, Heron Suzuki etc) and it was mainly privateers that contested it - Stringer, Dixon, MCGladdery, Manly, Gable etc.

There are no results in that year's Motocourse so can anyone help? Or at least inform me who was champion? I have a feeling it was Ray Stringer but can't be 100%.
