Hi!

I will be attending the Australian GP. Can you sit at other grandstands on practice days or do the 4 day tickets force you to sit at your grandstand on Fri-Sat too? How good/bad is the Webber grandstand? What time is the pit walk/autograph session on Thursday?

Thanks!

If you have a 4 day grandstand pass you are limited to the one grandstand. However you will also have full access to general admission areas which is a good opportunity to see the cars at different angles.

If you try early in the wkd when security is still trying to figure out which way is up you can get into other grandstands. But it's not Indy.

Check the GP website for all times & events. They will update it and it is the best resource for all track info. It's subject to change, even on the day of the event, as teams have other media commitments so drivers may not appear or run late on Thursday.

Webber grandstand gives you some views of finish/main straights & new V8 pits.

Enjoy

When I went in 2009, my Australian Grand Prix tickets only enabled me access to the grandstand on the outside of turn 1.

But as OssieFan said, you get access to all GA areas and it's a fantastic race track to talk around so I wouldn't worry too much about a seat on the other 3 days!
