Lotus Mk VIII

I have seen only one example of a 1:43rd scale Lotus Mk VIII (1954) and believe it to have been a one-off. An enthusiast was showing it at a model-makers' show I stumbled across a couple of years ago.

I would love to acquire one for my little Dundrod collection.

Any thoughts, anyone?

French company Mea Kit 43 had a Lotus VIII on display at Retromobile a couple of years ago, as well as a Lotus X.
Can't find a website for them, but they are available through lots of shops such as Grand Prix Models in England.

As KitKent says Mike Serrurier (Mikes Miniatures) makes VIIIs & Xs to order in South Africa.
I wonder if he is related to Doug Serrurier who made the LDSs?

It was Mike´s uncle (died three years ago).
I am in regular contact with Mike at the moment because of the model of my 20, he´s a very nice and helpful person.
