My first post on here so hello to everyone,
Its also a bit sad.... I recently saw a copy of "Winners" by Nicholas Watts advertised at an Auction house with a guide price of £40-50. Its been sold out for a long time and i thought i would make a telephone bid and did all the arrangements and got a courtesy call to tell me they would call me 3 lots before it was due on sale. Well the call never came and it sold for £40!!!!!!!!!.
Anyone else seen any bargains out there recently?
By the way i already have a copy of this print so i hope it has gone to a good home.

£10!!!!!! How do prints like this end up in general memorabilia auctions? Theyre a specialist purchase to start with and not something you would see for sale in your local shopping centre (having said that there was a print shop in my local shopping mall selling a lot of racing related prints many years ago). With the internet surely people would do a background check on these things before they send them to auction.
Anyway, nice to hear of your find as by being on this forum i am sure its gone to a good home.
