Trying to decide if I should pay for Eurosport Player to watch the MotoGP online or just continue with the BBC, even though they usually cut off the race for snooker or just don't show the race at all because there is a gaa match on or something?

Does Eurosport have better coverage? Show the podium and press conference? Are there ad breaks, and how many, how often?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Eurosport's coverage is brilliant, even though it's mostly of the three-guys-talking-over-the-world-feed variety. Never heard a better commentary combo than Toby Moody, Julian Ryder and Neil Spalding, although not everyone will agree with that.

If we're talking about a long-term investment, might be worth waiting to see what the BBC does with its MotoGP TV contract. Aren't their rights up at the end of the year?

I love the Eurosport coverage. Understated and informed. Plus, you get the 125cc and Moto2 races as well, which are often more entertaining than the big class.

I was looking at the 1 year subscription, it works out cheaper than signing every month or whatever.

If the BBC didn't have their contract it would certainly make the decision a bit easier!

what?

bbc motogp coverage is by no means perfect, with the dodgy commentary and the fact that they don#t do much before and after stuff, but they always show the full race live, and they always show the 125 and moto2 on interactive red button...

I've never seen listened/watched the Eurosport MotoGP commentary but I know it's rated very highly by those who do watch it - YouTube vids are plenty

Additionally I don't recall the BBC dropping a 125cc/Moto2 or MotoGP race for snooker or anything else.... but having said that I do watch online rather than in front of the TV

Certainly agree if the BBC lost its contract

Eurosport doesn't show MotoGP live - at least on the telly feed - it runs an hour behind. Squeeky & Pompous get on my tits, some people enjoy them. I dunno if you get exactly the same as is shown on Sky, if you do, you'll get the Superbike WC with Jamie Witham.

Both BBC & Eurosport have the same video feed from Dorna, Eurosport show practices too.

Sort of six of one half a dozen of the other then. I like Parrish and Cox is okay on commentary. And the BBC is free and have full coverage online though.

Been doing a bit more research into this online, Eurosport have adverts in the middle of races? I think I'll stick with the BBC, still hate ITV for going to an ad break with Schumacher hunting down Alonso in San Marino all those years ago.

Thanks for all your imput for me.
