Well I bought it, and it is very very good - worth the money. The forcefeedback is spot on, and the new downloadable content (Formula Classic and Formula Reiza) is top notch too - the Formula Classic is bags of fun to drive

I went and bought this last night, and am having great fun with it! The cars are awesome to drive, the force feedback is incredible, and even the AI is quite good. Looks like they really got the most of that old rFactor engine! Should've won my first race at Interlagos (knowing the track) but made too many mistakes, mainly missing braking points... Curitiba was next, wasn't too quick there and finished 20th, but at the Velopark (btw how awesome is this little track!?!) I won by a country mile!!

Seriously, anyone who loves sim racing should get this game - It's far more than just an 'rfactor mod'. The forcefeeback is better than iRacing imo, the tracks are fantastic and are just as good as the laser scanned ones, they really do have every bump modelled and you can feel them through the wheel.

Plus, the F3 is so fun to drive, and the F1 car is a beast - they nailed the physics, give it a try if you're sceptical! This game needs more of a following and more people online - for the price you aren't going to get anything better

I think they're adding a Modern Camaro later this month.....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H22pLkd2Bxg
I agree that this is one of the better sims out there.

When does the update come out? Haven't played this as much as I should've, but it's a fantastic sim!

End of the month.
I think the problem is a lack of cars, IMO, all sims should have at least 20 or so, then you'd always be inclined to want to drive something.

My main problem is that though it is essentially an rfactor offshoot, it actually runs slower on my computer than rfactor itself. I don't get the same fps on Stock Car as I do with similar tracks and cars on rfactor...

with the updates coming, it seems this sim have e a good variety of cars now,

about computer performance, the rfactor engine doesn't seem to suit very well modern CPUs, is just not optimized to more than a single core...
but with a fast modern PC you should be OK, comparing to pure rfactor, game stock car has a lot more detail built into it, so it's natural to run a bit slower, it's also more detailed than the mods I have seen for rfactor,

since my previous post some exciting new things were released for the game,
first the Mini Cooper Challenge

also now the game can be bought for just under $20!
and now there is also a demo version (without the 1 hour limit, but more limited selection of cars/tracks)

http://game-stockcar...r/en/index.html

also a conversion of the Nurburgring Nordschleife was made
