I am sure some hill climb enthusiasts from the 1960s can easily identify the two drivers in the cockpit of the cars. I think one could be Peter Blankstone but need help. The third shot is of Chris Summers with a supercharged Cooper 1100 photographed at Rest and Be Thankful.

Are you sure that solid back axle is on a Cooper?

That third photo has been discussed here before:

Help GG

The consensus was that the car was the Farley Special.

I'd go with the Farley.

This is Peter Varley. The chap in the first photo isn't Peter Blankstone either but not sure off hand who it is.

Oh yes of course it has - I'd forgotten, but that's life.

Confirm that the 1st photo isn't Peter Blankstone, although the face is familiar. There are some 1970s hillclimbers still hanging around on the Hagley &DLCC forums, <http://hagleydlcc.pr...com/index.cgi?> I'd try there.

The driver in the first photo COULD be Mike Hawley.

I think you are right Ted as he was at the meetings around that time. Sadly I no longer have the programmes and as you know the task of making a catalogue of all my black and whites with the details I want is a long task and any help those on TNF can give is truly welcomed. Thank you to all.
