Both the Ferraris seem to have the same logo on the side.
Do anyone know what it represented?

I have spotted a couples of images from and old coloured video of Ardmoree GP 1958.
Both the Ferraris seem to have the same logo on the side.
Do anyone know what it represented?

Looks like a Shell logo - I'll see if I can find one on other cars of the period

They're the Davison and Glass cars (both Australian entries)
Looks like a Shell logo - I'll see if I can find one on other cars of the period
If not Shell was Davison using his Ecurie Australie ploy at that time, did he and Glass enter as team-mates, if so did they have a badge, and is this it? Just a thought.

I've looked at various other photos from that season and remain pretty sure it was the Shell logo. Just can't find a suitably clear photo to prove my point...
Part of the problem is that in 1958 in NZ both Shell and BP - rivals there - seem to have used a light-coloured square decal with the actual logo (clamshell or BP shield) in a darker colour in the middle

It is possible, of course, that they changed camps as they crossed the Tasman.
