Great!

You do them on Wednesday at 7pm, which means I'm often out

This time you switch days, and I'll be out from about 6pm Tuesday (your time)

Have you been reading my diary?

:rotfl: Will be good to have you along Tim,,You will need to give that Polly plenty of sleep first .
Then be able to stand up to the Alttitude attack.!! I have tried to make the questions more
confuzzeling (confused and puzzling) New teen word on T.V. this morning.
Heaven forbid both Bristol Boys should join forces.!

Sorry to miss you again David McK.. You are just too too busy !Time to slow down now and smell
the roses.,and the methanol. I can recommend some leisure time activities..First an old movie....
The Admirable Crichton..Kenneth More and Dianne Cilento (Dianne died in Queensland last week )
Then go to You Tube and listen to ...Kay Starr..Wheel of Fortune and Jo Stafford..You Belong To Me.
Get those heartbeats down.!

Warm up question...On my desk there is a plarque which reads..
".Nil Bastardo Carborundum " Tell me what this means. May not be true Latin.
Closest guess wins a free beer at the Lady Wigram Ruapuna Meeting ,First weekend of November.!

P.S. Do you think that Paul McCartney remembered to arrange a PRE NUP this time.??

When I came across it I think it was "Nolite illegitimi carborundum" - but it was a long time ago and we all know how fickle memory gets with time.

In my case, possibly a bit earlier, it was "non illigitime te carburundum" - and we felt we were "semper in excreta"

Ah, but don't forget that 7 pm Oz time is 10 am UK time (I think - we don't put our clocks back for another few weeks; when do they change in Oz?).

Edit: just checked out Australian time zones - how very confusing. :drunk: No doubt Ron will give us his usual countdown so we know when to check in for the quiz.

:rotfl: HI Guys..For your Info..Queensland does not have Daylight Saving..
The Government decided that all that extra sunlight would Fade the Curtains..
(Most other States do have it,Which came in a couple of weeks ago.)
Time here now is 7..P.M. Monday Evening..

E1 Pix...What do you mean Round Place...I am from N.Z. and we know the earth
is FLAT..That,s why I dont travel by boat in case we drop off the edge,,
I travel by plane so that I can see if we are going too far,,and Qantas lets me wear
a Parachute in case I have to jump..

This is fascinating. According to this Australian time zone map if (today) you cross from Western Australia into South Australia you have to put your clocks forward two and a half hours. Is WA just later than the others in adopting daylight saving, or does it stay that way all summer?

Anything to do with pub opening hours along the border?

The Chinese have the right idea. Everywhere is Beijing Time even if it means getting up at noon instead of 8am and going to bed at 2am instead of 10pm.

My son, who has just returned to NZ after about 2 years working in Perth, would suggest that W Australians have not even heard of Daylight Saving. Nor a number of other things, apparently. His views might well be seen as perhaps a little jaundiced, of course.

:rotfl: HI Timpolly,,Yes it is confusing when it comes to time zones..Probably caused by each state
having its own Government,,and make their own laws..Thats why many radio stations don.t like to
give the time.Someone from another state might be listening, and be late,,or early for work.!!
The Aus. Government radio station gives the time and often gives the time in all states..Confusing.!
Queensland voted on daylight saving 8 or 10 years ago and got 51 % NO and 49 % YES..Many
voters in North Queensland said they did.nt want an xtra hour or two of hot temps..thankyou..

Hope to see you all tonight..Sorry that Alttitude will not be attending,,or David Mc K. but E1Pix might
stay awake (or get to sleep 6 hours early )

Hints for tonight...Who won the.....Name cars that were powered by a.....What was the total number
of laps....Who was the actor....What was Ambrose.s......In the Rugby....She who must be........

That must give you a good start....!!

RonMac, that's nice of Qantas. :) You know, I heard it was kinda flat in some places there, which is fine, but I did not know the whole country — and indeed the planet — still was. Did you invent flatbread so it matched your yard? SonOfa....!

....but E1Pix might stay awake (or get to sleep 6 hours early )

So am I right it's 3 am tomorrow morning Mountain Time US, 1 day and nearly 7 hours from now? Thanks and I'll try, Bud, maybe bed later tonight and so much shuteye I must stay awake tomorrow night. I'll be even dumber that late, which is good for the rest, of course. and may be your master plan  but yes, dumber is hard to fathom.

If not, send darts, I'll understand — or call in your most-sensual voice and wake me up (best to hire this part out).
