He raced Nortons in the 60s and Crescent in the 70s.
Unfortunately he has lost all his photographs from his racing days and I wonder if anyone on the forum has any information or pictures of him.
Peter isn't into computers but if you could reply here or PM me he would be interested in getting in touch and buying a couple of photographs. I will pass on replies to him.
Thanks very much
David

Remember me to Pete on Monday tell him I'm still in touch with Geoff Bastard, another Crescent rider and builder of my machine (now Barr and married with children to Ama )

He tells me that the bike he is riding in the Snetterton photo is a Seeley Yamsel frame with Yamaha front brake and a Crescent engine and it is running in Hadleigh Custom colours.
He remembers Tony and Geoff very well.
I've sent PMs on Peter's behalf.

Hi, at my first Manx in 1976 My wife and I were introduced to Geoff Bastard by the late Derek Older and his spannerman Pat Corridan. We all had a chuckle when the commentator -The Manxman Cannell?- used the Rik Mayall B'Stard as he was circulating in his race. A likeable chap I seem to remember. From Tonyed (Tony Edwards) another Crescent rider
