Was anyone there on Saturday to photograph the Safety Car spinning off the track?!?!
To be fair I thought they might have had a quicker car as the pace/safety car...especially when it had to try and give the F1 cars two warm up laps !!

#26 is the 1966 Lola T-90 supercharged Offy driven by Roger Ward at Indy that year. #35 is a 1935 Miller-Ford V8 front wheel drive.
Cheers,
Kurt O.

I was standing on the exit of Redgate Tony , it happened right before my eyes . Basically, they`d done one lap and it was a bit slippy out there, the car just lost it going in and ended up facing nose to nose with Andy Newall`s 8 litre Monster McLaren. Alas ....I was not ready with my humble mobile phone on camera mode...Pah!!Was anyone there on Saturday to photograph the Safety Car spinning off the track?!?!

In a ceremony on the podium at lunchtime, Bev will be presenting staff from Poole Hospital with a cheque for funds raised to date by his "Motor Racing Supporting Cancer Awareness in Men" Charity, so come on down and buy a polo shirt or sticker & give Bev your support!

Wondering if anyone know's anything about Peter Dubsky's Aston Martin 15/98 'GMX 128' seen above at Castle Combe's VSCC meeting last year, noticed the nose looks post 1937.
Relevant answers maybe credited and used in a forth coming blog.
Thanking you in anticipation of your responses.

I can only tell you what is listed in the last copy of the AMOC Register which I have (now some years old). It is described simply as a "2-seater tourer" and, at the time, belonged to a gentleman in Japan. So apparently no competition history in period.

Aussies in disguise. That's why the flag is an Aussie one.
Half their population has moved to Australia, no wonder they are flag-confused
