DiResta for sure will trash this hyped german driver.
There must have been a database error, for some reason your Sig says hildebrand instead of that polish rally bloke.
And Hulkenberg for me. Far better single seater career. Give him half a season evens though, di resta is a class act.ish.

Next season is going to be a hot season just to see which teams made the right driver call.

If it's no open yet some one should start the PDR vs Hulk thread, probably the most hyped pairing in the field.
What, STR?

I'm a Di resta fan but your really down playing the hulk. There is a very good reason he is so 'hyped". http://en.wikipedia....#Career_summary
Like i say i'm a fan of Paul's but i think Nico is a cut above and potential WDC material, but thats just my opinion.

I think he is a far better driver than Di Resta, but that year out of the car is going to have made him race rusty and need time to overcome.

di Resta has had his bedding in period.
I think it'll be close but di Resta will shade it.
A very good pairing imo.

It's gonna be close, I think Di Resta will be faster initially though, having continuity and such. On paper/looking at his CV you'd think Hulk is faster ...and It would be nice to see FP1 times between these two drivers when they were together on Fridays. I'm sure I've seen Hulk beat Di Resta a few times.
Which is the odd part about this lineup. Hulk beat Di Resta a few times during FP, but he rarely managed to beat Sutil's time.

Very close to choose, and it could even come down to one of them getting a flukey 3rd or 4th on a wet race/high attrition race but I'd go for Paul, because he has experience (Hulk has been more or less out the car for a year) and also Paul beat Vettel in 2006 F3, so he must be good ;)
I agree with the point that it could come down to one of them getting a 4th or 5th somewhere during the season might be the difference because there going to be struggling to score points regularly.

I was seriously impressed how he wiped the floor with barrichello. Hulkenberg for me.
Rubens had more than double the points!

Yep. I think we're in for a massive fight at FI this year. For now it's impossible to tell who is gonna come out on top! Looking forwardFair fight. Exact same amount of experience and two quick young drivers. Which one can bring it to another level? This could be a Mercedes tryout (though I still think it's possible Lewis ends up there). Then again, Force India might be better than MGP this coming year...

Everybody pitted for dry tyres at the same time. His pole was down to his ability of bringing the tyres up to temperature.

The Hulk.

You mean the speed, which have led to a "magnificent" 8th place on Sunday?
I remember a driver, who achieved similar result this year starting from 24th position...

Disappointed with PDR, although he says a compromised out lap in Q2 cost him tyre temp so perhaps more time to find, 7 tenths is a big margin though. They were neck & neck in Q1 so i think Paul had more time in him in Q2 but don't think he would of beaten the Hulk, he was on it.

Nico was much underrated, but not by all. Good job. Good luck in the race.
Yep, and Di Resta way overrated, specially by the british press.
So far Hulkenberg has destroyed him.
