I think the Hulk may just edge Di Resta. I think there won't be much between them. Such an exciting pair.

Hulk seems to be very hyped so far from the votes, id like him to beat Di Resta but it will be a difficult task

Giving the edge to DiResta, but only because The Incredible Hulk has missed a year.

There must have been a database error, for some reason your Sig says hildebrand instead of that polish rally bloke.

And Hulkenberg for me. Far better single seater career. Give him half a season evens though, di resta is a class act.ish.

I hope Di Resta does way better than the Hulk just to prove FI wrong for dropping Sutil, Im a little bitter about that.

Next season is going to be a hot season just to see which teams made the right driver call.

If it's no open yet some one should start the PDR vs Hulk thread, probably the most hyped pairing in the field.

What, STR?

I'm a Di resta fan but your really down playing the hulk. There is a very good reason he is so 'hyped". http://en.wikipedia....#Career_summary

Like i say i'm a fan of Paul's but i think Nico is a cut above and potential WDC material, but thats just my opinion.

A very strong pairing. Impossible to say. Having said that the previous FI pairing was stronger than a lot of people give credit.

The Hulk is a top driver and the circumstances around his exit from Williams are a sad indictment of F1.

I think he is a far better driver than Di Resta, but that year out of the car is going to have made him race rusty and need time to overcome.

I think it will be close with the Hulk just edging it. Hopefully, it will be a great battle.

di Resta has had his bedding in period.

I think it'll be close but di Resta will shade it.

A very good pairing imo. :)

I am in wrong thread, but far more interesting question for me is, who is better from pairing Hulk and Nico R.? People say that Nico is underrated, but my gut tells me that Hulk would trash him in similar machinery. I watch him for a few races with Williams, and he as fine hand for smooth lines, which could translate into something. Resta is an unproven entity; too soon to say much about him. More action off track than on track. Brits are after a new hero, fed up with Hamilton, and bored with JB, so here is a new hope. No problem.

I really can't call this one ........ voted di Resta simply because he was in F1 last season and Hulk wasn't.

Even pairing, Di Resta has recent race experience so for that reason I vote for him.

Im a fan of both, probably with tendency's toward Paul, however I am fan of Hulk too.

Very close to choose, and it could even come down to one of them getting a flukey 3rd or 4th on a wet race/high attrition race but I'd go for Paul, because he has experience (Hulk has been more or less out the car for a year) and also Paul beat Vettel in 2006 F3, so he must be good ;)

It's gonna be close, I think Di Resta will be faster initially though, having continuity and such. On paper/looking at his CV you'd think Hulk is faster ...and It would be nice to see FP1 times between these two drivers when they were together on Fridays. I'm sure I've seen Hulk beat Di Resta a few times.

I wouldn't dare to vote on that. Indications are its going to be pretty close. One of the more interesting driver pairing on the grid next season for me, if FI at least keeps the level of this year's performance.

I think it'll be close at the end of the season. I think Paul will edge Nico out probably until the summer break because Nico's been sitting for a year. However I think by the end of the season Nico will be ahead in the WDC and place better than Paul albeit not by much.

Which is the odd part about this lineup. Hulk beat Di Resta a few times during FP, but he rarely managed to beat Sutil's time.

I agree with the point that it could come down to one of them getting a 4th or 5th somewhere during the season might be the difference because there going to be struggling to score points regularly.

Both drivers are hyped prospects that could one day be driving for Mclaren or Mercedes. 2012 will paint the picture clearly of how is overrated and who isn't.

Hard to say, I think they'll be roughly equal but Di Resta may have the early advantage. I'm supporting the Hulk just because i like him better. :D

Fair fight. Exact same amount of experience and two quick young drivers. Which one can bring it to another level? This could be a Mercedes tryout (though I still think it's possible Lewis ends up there). Then again, Force India might be better than MGP this coming year...

Yep. I think we're in for a massive fight at FI this year. For now it's impossible to tell who is gonna come out on top! Looking forward :)

Everybody pitted for dry tyres at the same time. His pole was down to his ability of bringing the tyres up to temperature.

Stellar job from the Hulk today  Not sure the car had much more to give.

Disappointed with PDR, although he says a compromised out lap in Q2 cost him tyre temp so perhaps more time to find, 7 tenths is a big margin though. They were neck & neck in Q1 so i think Paul had more time in him in Q2 but don't think he would of beaten the Hulk, he was on it.

Yep, and Di Resta way overrated, specially by the british press.

So far Hulkenberg has destroyed him.

Congratulations to the Hulk! Reading the comments from the team, they seem to be very happy with him. He didn't have that much luck in testing and its his first race at FI, so hats off for nailing those laps in Q.
