Much controversy over this in the Guardian some time ago.

The decision of the readers was that the OED is incorrect in its' use and that the apostrophe after the s is used to denote ownership.

For consistency's sake, I hope they were also advocating the use of hers', yours', theirs' and ours'.

Why couldnt the new crash zone, sorry radius bend go near pilgrims or hawthorns. Either left or right would still work.

According to a post in the Racing forum, the circuit change has been approved by the council. Pretty much as expected. Best of luck to the first riders who have to use it.

Why? If they are so incompetent that they need luck, they won't have made it round Paddock and Druids.

And Palmer has said that they haven't decided whether to make the changes anyway - the planning permission may never be used.

Because it's a bang up the arse, first lap certainty.

There have been several T-bone bike accidents recently, one Aussie specialises in them. It's one thing to practice on a circuit, yet another to race on it. It's also a certainty that the first race will be for less experienced riders.

I don't follow that logic. If they have managed to get round a right hand hairpin at Druids, why should they then come to grief at the following left hand hairpin?
