Maserati 151

Just watched the Goodwood vintage racing on SpeedTV.
That Maserati 151 is one of the coolest racing cars ever!

According to Willem Oosthoek and Michel Bollee's book, Maserati Tipo 151, this is chassis 006, one of the two Briggs Cunningham cars. Thence to Chuck Jones Team Meridian, and so on. Lately in the Rosso Bianco collection until its breakup. Has had a lot of modifications over the years, many due the car's conversion to a street machine while owned by Jones. That had to be something else!

WOW ! The Maserati 151 took a purty good "whack" into the tire wall at Goodwood !!
Just saw it for the first time on Speed TV. Hope its not hurt too bad.
