In other words don't blame the electric cars, blame the sources.
If the polluting sources were in places that did not impact the urban area, then electric cars are moving the pollution out of the urban area.
This just emphasises that the energy business should concentrate on non polluting energy production.

Yeah right--well petroleum powered cars store and use energy too they don't produce it.
A fully charged battery and a full tank of petrol have this in common,the energy available came from elsewhere....but still from this planet.

Yes they do.
Lazy Evil cars simply store energy that was produced elsewhere, Good cars merely store a fuel and process it on the run as required (excess electricity production is never taken into account when judging an Evil car's consumption either).
Energy consumption in an electric car is the equivalent of eating someone else's vomit.

If the majority of electricity production is eventualy distributed from 'clean' alternate energy sources, excess production becomes almost irrelevent.
It is fossil fuel vehicles that are 'evil'.
Of course you have to be a raving religious nut to conclude this.
