Good to know, I'll boycott the video in that case. I've no desire to see that.

It's maybe 2 seconds of the entire video, I think you'll survive it.
It was a joke. I watch all the vids. There was joy; Kimi came second, remember?

British GP is up.
Overall good race edit out of rather boring race. Some nice shots like the shot over the mechanics at the checquered flag. Also great idea with subtitles.

An overtake for the lead four laps from the end, and it's a boring race? Spoilt kids these days.
God knows what people made of of Barcelona, Hungaroring etc about a decade ago!

Well, since DRS was pretty much involved too much, I wouldn't say boring but predictable, just like Schumacher who got ahead of Hamilton in the end in exactly the same way.An overtake for the lead four laps from the end, and it's a boring race? Spoilt kids these days.

I don't understand why you people watch racing when you don't even understand it. Even a highlights clip is too difficult.
HAHAHAHAHAHA.
You are my hero, Ross. I don't care if this statement is a month old.

Is there a way to save these videos? I want to add them to race DVD's.
Yes there is. When you watch streamed flash video (flv) then the stream is kept in cache. You can retieve it byt this program http://www.nirsoft.n...cache_view.html there are also better commercial programs. You can also look at: http://grafikdesign....x-cache-folder/

Neither of methods are working for me. Hopefully some one will upload them on you tube.

And to add to that.. it was practically inevitable that Maldonado would have passed him later on anyway.. Lewis' rear tyres were shot, he said it himself after the race it was like they were punctured. His traction was gone.Part of racing is understanding where the other car is, and anticipating where it will be in a few moments. Especially if you're racing someone like Maldonado.
Maldonado's fault but Lewis is a world champ and he put himself in a vulnerable position.

If Maldonaldo couldn't pass him in the DRS zone, what makes you so sure?

German GP edit is up. Pretty OK, at least showed most of the overtakes.

Why is this on Youtube and not on the F1.com site? Is it official or fan made? Still, not bad at all

You are right, it's there, but it hasn't been announced in the headlinesIt's on the F1.com site aswell. I just found it on YT first and linked it from there. Also I prefer to watch them on YT since the F1.com player is really poorly done IMO. Can't even get proper fullscreen there.
Hungary is also ready for review - http://www.formula1....uid=2012072911R
Not bad, no action, lots of pitstop frames, but the race was quite boring anyway ...

The generic rock music and style suggests it is very much official.

Deliberately so I would speculate.

Belgium GP edit is up. Not a very good one. Still hate the F1.com player, but this isn't up on Youtube yet so..
Really liked Kimi's response to his team saying we're under threat from Michael
Kimi: "I know what I'm doing!"

Once again the nitwit video maker failed to show us who came 2nd or 3rd - so instead we got the bizarre slow-mo shots of Jenson blowing his champaign. How *%*($ing hard is it to show all 3 people that make the podium?
The only time we get them for certain is when Brits make 2nd and 3rd. It is the lowest form of bias. I should stop watching - yes I should.

Also, they only barely showed Kimi's overtake at Eau Rouge.Better job at the video this week, until the end - loved Kimi's proclamation He's simply the greatest.

The most spectacular overtake of the season so far, Kimi vs. MSC on Eau Rouge was shown from side camera, just as a note, for the statistics.
Guys and girls that make those video edits: various rookies and enthusiastic people over the world make better edits, post them in Youtube, we cheer them for the good job, and FOM takes the video down.
I'm still baffled by the fact that they, FOM, had all the race material available, yet they can't produce anything decent.

It's probably on purpose: to save the best material for selling, I'm afraid. I assume the FOM doesn't want these edits be a decent summary of races; they rather look like those misleading movie trailers trying to lure the audience, only that the other way around: showing almost nothing of racing interest.

To who?
FIA season review DVD.
Some years ago I bought some official Grand Prix DVDs the FOM releases but they were exactly the same as broadcasted live for television (qualifying and race), so you didn't get much more than what you had already seen on telly; ok, it spares you the ads breaks, just this.
I also bought one official season review and it's possible there was some previously unreleased footage (on-boards) but in a two (or 4?) hours long DVD reviewing a whole season there's no too much room for new material.
I've been browsing the Internet to check where to buy, if possible, all the unreleased footage the FOM must have from each GP weekend: on-boards, non live-broadcasted steady cams takes, helicopter's takes, etc. I have been incapable of finding anything of the sort. The FOM is all the time deleting videos people upload to the Internet, if I'm not mistaken, some with unseen footage, especially on-boards. I guess that the FOM enforces this policy because they want to sell it; does anyone know where to buy it or watch it?

They only sell it to the TV companies that was once rumoured to be at about £6k per minute...Some years ago I bought some official Grand Prix DVDs the FOM releases but they were exactly the same as broadcasted live for television (qualifying and race), so you didn't get much more than what you had already seen on telly; ok, it spares you the ads breaks, just this.

This is a very late reply, but from watching the last few season review DVDs, there's definitely a decent amount of new footage, including onboards and radio transmissions, that are not broadcast during the season proper. There are also things like clips which were only shown as slow-motion replays during the live race coverage now played at normal speed.
