Somebody should get fired for this.

Why was Horners face blurred out after the start?
Probably said a naughty word.
The Korea edit was decent. In my opinion most of the edits are just 'decent' and a few are outstanding. There's too many other things in this world to get bent out of shape over... I don't think I could bring myself to call for people to be 'fired' over a race edit.
I will say this: Pendulum should be the official F1 Race Edit House Band.... lol.... The music just fits perfectly.

With Red Bull 1 and 2 i can't imagine what he had said there ;)Probably said a naughty word.

Mwa, decent, decent... slightly. I find these videos so-so, many of them. On the bright side, the introduction of zooming-on-importance is great, look at the action on Buttons front wheel. Nice idea.

Rubbish music, no Toro Rosso drivers going up, nothing at all. 0.5/10
I'm not even sure if we have to discuss the FOM race edits anymore. Instead, if they monitor this thread, I suggest them:
1. Choose a random fan do it for you - it will be better
2. Open-source the video data that can be edited - create a competition - hire the winner
3. Watch this one - - and take notes.

First time I've seen that and just wow, that was incredible, great editing by that person. FOM race edits should be done by him!

Boring. I don't know yet if it is due to Vettel winning again or the race edit itself
Really boring, both edit and the music, yawn...

Other years, edits seemed to be by a guy who was actually interested in F1 and passionate about racing. Now it feels like some random guy who has a job to do, but it not interested.

Abu Dhabi: http://www.formula1....uid=2012110418R - the race itself had a lot to offer, still, it's a straightforward gluing of the pieces together. Music is dull as hell. What happened to nice rock tracks that go OK with fast cars?
Done to death, have some normal music

That is officially most pointless race edit ever.Abu Dhabi: http://www.formula1....uid=2012110418R - the race itself had a lot to offer, still, it's a straightforward gluing of the pieces together. Music is dull as hell. What happened to nice rock tracks that go OK with fast cars?

Honestly, this is the worst race edit I've ever seen. Every half a second a new clip begins, you can hardly understand what was going on. Music doesn't fit at all and the video isn'teven sharp is it (or my PC)?

Frankly, I got the same impression, it was fuzzy, so I tried all devices that had display on them, including the PC at work - same... the video isn't even sharp is it (or my PC)?
So, there are two ways out of that - either get used to the low quality we get for free, or approach FOM and offer our help - as consultants, for example.

United States edit is out. Nothing spectacular, covered most of the overtakes. Vettel complaining about the overtake wasn't included which is a bit odd, then again the edit ends almost immeadetly after that so I guess it makes sense.
1 more to go and if last years timing is anything to go by, the last edit won't be out before the year changes. Fingers crossed it will be out before the next season starts.

My mistake, Brazil GP edit is out now aswell. Comparing to the race itself, it's not too bad of an edit. Could be better but still. Unfortunately not a single clip of Räikkönen's off track adventures.http://www.formula1....deo/race_edits/

nothing will beat the ones we got for the 2010 season though! The FIA one was superb but the RTL one was hair raising as well. Raised the bar which I think has led to everyones depression on here the last few yrs and they haven't gotten close to those!

The Kimi bit especially was great, added a little bit of something different and humour to it.

...but my favourite part is still the Vettel spin. the sadness from the RB side, the smug grin of daddy Massa... and then Vettel turns around, and we see despair, shouting and waving arms at the screen, so basically the ferrari garage being frightened of Vettel, even when he is dead last and has a damaged car. and rightfully so.

They do, it's a good theme although I completely miss any kind of story line behind it. It's just a random bunch of clips with battle, contact, munched together. FOM is much better at that department.DTM knows how it's done:
