Superlicense F1 is a good podcast and of course how could I not recommend F1 and Done's latest podcast?
Hey. I just listened to y'alls podcast for the first time. The last American hosted podcast I listened to I hated but I really like what you guys are doing.
I appreciate that you guys are actual sports fans. Loved hearing you all talk about the NBA and what not.
I have yet to find a podcast that has a Lewis Hamilton fan.
Keep up the good work.

Radio LeMans/Midweek Motorsport all the way for me.
Autosport and James Allen as well but they come out so seldom...
Big fan of Radio Le Mans although it has been kind of weak recently. Puff pieces and random features of no particular interest except for hardcore endurance racing fans has been the norm in recent weeks I think. Still likely the best racing show out there and July is one of the most boring months to be a race fan.

Check out the latest F1 And Done podcast!
Except for some protracted tangents about Bo Derek, Linda Evans, stargazy pie, ******* and gravy, athletes who smoke, and a few other pressing things, we stayed completely on topic! All F1, all the time!

Good show as always. As a Doug Stanhope fan I'm always happy to hear the word "*******" used in any context in 2013 without everyone else in the room reaching for their torches and pitchforks. Linda Evans was almost 50 when I was born so I can only imagine what's going on between her legs. It's probably like grilled cheese.
I was sure stargazy pie was made up as a joke but apparently not. I think those pies would actually taste better as vomit.
The bit about WWE promos made me remember this classic thread: http://forums.autosp...rnie/?hl=+vince

The fact that he had an actual car lighter rules. Also, I like how the full face helmet was actually a help (resting the butt) rather than a hinderance to smoking.

Hey, you all did a great job at this. Any chance you all can do a one off or even recurring podcast about the nfl or the nba?

Just in case it hasn't been mentioned, this is a fantastically insightful podcast. Gary Anderson, in my opinion, has been the standout in the 2013 broadcasts.

I liked his numbers based analysis but it got off to the wrong start(for me) when he said there'd been 91 GP winners since 1950. I thought we were past 100 now?

Thanks - positive stuff like this keeps us going! We're going to try to do some more episodes in the offseason. Chances are they'll be a little more off topic as there is probably only so much we can talk about with driver signings and pre-season testing. Stay tuned.

Webber, Maldonado, Hulkenberg, Sutil.. basically everything. Which is fair enough, they did say those things were going to happen before they did, but it gets a bit ****ing tedious after the 10th straight episode where F1 News is "As we told you here on Radio Le Mans last week..", as if they're the only place talking about where F1 drivers are going.

They have always been the best at getting real info out - as opposed to repeating press releases or just generally being boosters like almost every other F1 press seems to specialise in..... they are right to brag.

I thought that was one of the poorer efforts. It was good to hear from SFW generally, and he sounded pretty relaxed and much better than he often does for TV interviews when he can sound quite breathless but it didn't flow at all and I didn't feel there was any rapport. I get very fed up with the random 'so DRS, isn't it all very artificial, eh?' point which they ALWAYS chuck in every month but here it was just shoehorned in as opinion dressed up as question. In fact, lets open a book on what minute they will ask this next time they have an F1-related type on the podcast.
Normally I love the Motorsport Magazine podcast but this was a bit shit. IM ever so HO.

I agree. I so looked forward to this as Sir Frank is one of my heroes, but it turned out to be a missed opoprtunity. They are ususally very, very good, but the ones that really stand out, at least for me is with Richard Noble in August '13, Richard Attwood in January '13, Jody Schekter December '12, Murray Walker August '11 (probably THE best) and Brian Redman February '11 (hillarious - I remember listening to this while driving a long trip in my old, loud 911 and had a blast). The ones With Damon Hill, Tiff Needell, Patrick Head, Karun Chanduk, Pat Symonds and Alan McNish were also great. Seems like most of these are worth re-listening to.

Symonds is always fantastic, McNish was great, Gary Anderson fascinating with his calculations of ultimate lap time, and Richard Noble the one guest I stopped to listen to the end of when I got home. I would normally switch off when I get home and pick up where I left off the next day.
Don't think I heard Brian Redman.
All in all still the motorsport podcast of choice, but I might have to find some way of maiming or killing Roebuck if he doesn't shut up about DRS soon.
