The last six races have all had different winners.

India - Sebastian Vettel
Abu Dhabi - Lewis Hamilton
Brazil - Mark Webber
Australia - Jenson Button
Malaysia - Fernando Alonso
China - Nico Rosberg

Can this go on, Schumi or Räikkönen to win the next race?

When was the last time something like this happened?

Bahrain IS one of his better tracks. Don't jinx it, man.

Regardless, we could see Seb (keeping it at 6), Michael, Kimi or Romain (bumping it to 7) winning.

Meh... Maybe this wasn't such a unique situation after all.

The time before that was quite some time ago. I know in 1999 we had five different winners in five races, but the last time it was 6 in 6 could be as far back as 1982.

EDIT: Whoops, counting the first race of 2000 we had six different winners from Spa 99 to Australia 00.

I was only half kidding really, it would be really nice to have Massa back on form, I like the guy.

Really sad that playing second fiddle to Alonso has taken all of the fight out of him.

He's my favorite driver on the grid by far (and of all time, actually). I just like to joke about things all the time. Takes a little bit of stress out of being a Massa fan.

I'd kill to see him back in top form.

Yes, 11 different winners. No one won more than two races.

It's gonna be interesting but I think that we won't see a seventh one because it must be someone like MSC or Kimi. And I'm not sure about the Mercedes pace, but I believe that Lotus is currently fast enough for a podium but not for a win.

We are still at 6 different winners in the last 6 races, but can it go on? If Lotus is as strong in Barcelona as they were here in Bahrain, it's entirely possible. Note that Hamilton winning would also keep this chain going, but not expand it.

Based on present form, I think the non-winners most likely to score a win soon are probably Raikkonen, Hamilton, Schumacher, and Webber, perhaps even in that order. Massa will need a large meteor to hit the track (particularly wherever Alonso is running) if he's going to win again.

As much as I'd like to see a Schumacher win to expand this series - I think after his relative strength in the first races, Nico is now back on top and if Schumacher is 3 or 4 tenths behind, this will generally put him behind the podium positions nowadays.

It comes down to tires and track temp. We have seen a variety of different race conditions in the first 4 GP's and this is playing to the strengths of one team or another.

Would be interesting to compare who the pace leaders were in each GP and rank them from the last 4 GP's and then link this data to the track conditions on race day.

I think then we could start decoding which chassis performs best under certain track conditions.

I just noticed something else. We've now had eight different drivers on the podium. That's one more than in the entire last season.

Also, while unlikely, it's not entirely inconceivable that Mark Webber could lead the championship after the next race without having a single podium position.

It's realistic to extend it to 9 in a row, Raikkonen and Hamilton surely will win a race soon! We should also see whether we can get 6 different constructors in a row! Hoping Lotus can win in Monaco!

Could we get 12 race winners in a season? Add both Lotuses, Hamilton, MSC, Webber, and the potential for another midfield team to do a Williams and you get close... Sauber already got close.

everything is possible...i expect both lotus to win at some point..lewis will win certainly....that makes 8 diff. winners in a season....now add webber and a 'under circumstances' win by a sauber,we will have 10 winners in a season....things were never been this much exiting... :clap:

Having six different race winners is a novelty. For some reason I'm not feeling the excitement anymore. The tires don't have any life. The drivers aren't able to push because the tires are constantly degrading. The last three races have been won from pole position. Despite all the rule changes, F1 has become quite predictable.

I agree, this is no longer F1 which was a sport, it's Formula Tyres now which is an entertainment show, but that is what the masses want I suppose... "We give you **** tyres, whomever manages to roll the dice and get lucky this weekend gets a win", I hear a lot of tyres this tyres that when watching, from the commentators, after the races the drivers explain how the tyres this and the tyres that which caused them problems....

Maybe in Tennis, Golf, Soccer etc. they should start giving strange balls out so that there is also a different winner each tournament :confused:

Personally I would have preferred a race where Hamilton could properly chase through the field from last, not worrying about tyres going off, a race where Alonso was fighting till the very last lap, actually a race where all drivers for that matter were balls to the wall all race long, racing cars not tyres.

That is actually the case now, especially the goalkeepers are not happy with the modern balls because they are very unpredictable from time to time.

It's not Formula Tyres.

I still see the usual suspects leading the WDC, and hell, Button who is considered by many the best in managing tyres is only 6th in the WDC.

In seven races, only two guys have managed to get on the podium more than twice.

4 - Hamilton
3 - Alonso
2 - Vettel, Rosberg, Raikkonen, Button, Perez, Gosjean
