If these wonderful politicians are so knowledgeable and can fix all the worlds problems how is it they can’t fix one problem in their own countries? Perhaps we should all swap leaders (leaders! My arse) so they can fix the problems of their new foreign country without the burden of effin up their own even more.
There isn’t one of them I’d employ cleaning my pond out, and I’ve taken the precaution not to have a pond just in case.

The worlds problems in order of the most catastrophic first:

1. Politicians
2. Religion (all religions)
3. World population
4. Greed
5. Uncaring Capitalism
6. Global warming
7. Rotten summer weather
8. Fox news (or should that be Fox lies)
9. Rupert Murdoch
10. Four Strokes in motorcycle racing.

Another true gem Tony!

Be careful, you could get a nomination to stand for Prime Minister.

youve got to wonder who is pulling the strings of the leaders, there are people far more powerful than the camerons and obamas of this world.

Am I alone in being disturbed by the hostility shown towards Julian Assange, particularly it seems in Britain. What's driving this I wonder?

you're not alone Russell, John Pilger commented today: Pilger / Assange

as to who pulls the strings, there's a clue 2'30" into this: who rules?

Great Pilger article!

Yes, I remember it was Pilger who tore the septics a new one over the Vietnam war, not a man to mince words.

You've only got to look at the **** that run the multinational conglomerates such as British Aerospace Dynamics, Lockheed Martin who happily sell arms to any despot in the world or Chevron who will dump toxic waste anyware it thinks it can't be found, or Halliburton who support wars so they can rebuild the ravaged countries and soak off the profits or Glencore who see the latest world wide food shortages as an ideal business opportunity or etc etc.

These are the **** that really run the world not the low IQ, sloping forehead, knuckle dragging, dogmatic 'heads of state' most of whom are not capable of holding a real job down let alone running a country, and all supported by the likes of the CIA, MI5 (or 6), the SVR, Mossad etc operating state sponsored terrorism throughout the world.

Look at Mut Rimney and its' running mate Ryan, try if you can to name a dodgier pair of shysters in the world.

The truth about world corruption should be an important subject but as long as we poor idiots keep voting the crap in and are happy with our diet of bread and circuses (royal wedding, queens golden jumbilee, the o’limpics etc in GB this year) then we get all we deserve, a bunch of crooks that make the despots of history look no worse than your granny next door.

The exposing of information governments don’t want in the public domain is vital and anyone who is involved should be supported. If Julian Assange is guilty of sexual assault then he should be bought to justice, however I feel this is a ruse to extradite him to the US via Sweden and the extradition process by the Swedes was flawed and should not receive British support.

If the US wants to be the worlds policeman then it should get its’ own house in order first without having to rely on snivelling coat tail hangers like the UK to bolster its’ weird view of world law and order.

All this world corruption has meant the demise of the two stroke at GP level. I can forgive most things but this is a heinous crime against humanity and someone must pay.

I am starting a campaign to extradite the current leader of the Honda Motor Corp Takanobu Ito to face this crime. I am hoping to extradite him on a jumped up charge of illegal parking.

I’ve long since fallen out of love with a lefty worldview similar to that expounded by Pilger. On this issue though he’s largely right. What remains unanswered though is why our organs of the liberal left such as the Guardian and the New Statesman are running editorial lines that are so antagonistic to Assange. The Guardian’s position is particularly odd since this rag was one of less than a handful of newspapers around the world to have been selected for the purpose of disseminating the Wikileaks revelations. They splashed them over their front pages for days on end, and doubtless made lots of dosh in the process. They seem now to want to atone for this for some reason by supporting the drivel emanating from the whinning gob of William Hague. As for the BBC, don’t get me started……..

Used to be an avid the ‘Grauindad’ until prior to the last election in the UK when its’ editorial implored a vote for the Lib Dems, and look what we’ve got the biggest bunch of tossers since time began.
A work experience government with no idea, no talent, no charisma, no idea, no talent, no charisma, no idea, no talent, no charisma, no idea, no talent, no charisma, no idea, no talent, no charisma, repeating the same mistakes time and time and time and time and time again.

How come this web site edits the word 'mucs' an anagram of skum (with a c) but not tossers. perhaps it realises the truth about Knobhead and Co.

Two stroke fumes are the strainings from the Devils jock strap and the cause of all the worlds evils. Takanobu Ito is the warrior we have been blessed with to rid us all of said evils.

since were on the anything else forum i thought i would pass on something that happened at work

i work in a fairly large group of office buildings and for some time we have been losing contracts with our cleaning companys for no real reason except they just say they they are not coming back.

well low and behold last week another company just quit so we thought we would investigate why, after about half an hour of coaxing we finally got our answer.

these guys clean after 11pm when everybodys left and apparently whats been happening is when they were cleaning on the third floor at night they used to get things thrown at them like pens, staples etc

they said chairs would move and doors would open and close by themselves, a week before they quit they started working in pairs to feel "safer" but it was too much.

we went back and once we had mentioned this some people said they felt like they had been followed on that floor.

never felt or seen anything, dont know what to make of it.

having said that my old neighbour used to say he would hear the previous house owner coming into the gravel drive late at night with the car, then get out and walk across the gravel then there was nothing.

only 3 problems he told me 1. there was never any car 2. he had been dead for 15 years (the previous house owner) and 3. the drive had been concreted when he bought after this guy passed on.

When my wife was previously married she and her then husband lived with two small children at Weston Colville Hall in West Wratting. On many occasions she could smell baking coming from thee kitchen and also saw many times a woman walking towards the kitchen only to find it empty. This is documented in a book about ghosts in East Anglia.

One night in 1982, with my then girlfriend, we parked up in our favourite courting spot and once we were in full flow we had the shock of our lives when the oak tree beside the car burst into flames. This was no little flare up as the whole tree from top to bottom was covered in flame and this was a big tree. Needless to say we were out of there with all the tackle on show. Next day I went back to have a look and the tree was fine with no burning on or around it.

Later that same year, with the same girlfriend we drove, at night, up a small lane that was a dead end but with a turn around at the top. Now at the time I had time I had a '66 D reg black MGBGT and halfway up the lane we met another car coming the other way. There was a passing place and as we pulled over I could see that the other car was a dark MGBGT so I looked at the registration plate and it was the same as mine. I turned to my girlfriend and said " someone has got the same plate as my car " but when I looked in the rear view mirror the car was gone. No lights nothing. We turned round at the top of the lane and I don't mind saying I was pretty nipped up coming back down the lane thinking were we going to meet ourselves again but nothing came our way.

I was the publican at the old Kalamunda Hotel in the hills above Perth in 1985/86, which had plenty of tales about the ghost of a young woman, and while I never heard any activity the manager I took over from had had a couple of frightening occurrences before my arrival : also the bloke who managed the bottle shop in the old part of the pub claimed to have had a couple of mystifying experiences late at night there after lockup.

http://www.perthghos...amundahotel.htm

PS When I took over there as manager, the first thing I did was to take down a horse racing picture high on the wall of the public bar and whack up a big glossy pic of Wayne Gardner on the 500. It caused some grumbling, but when I started playing the SBS coverage of the 1986 title chase in the bar the interest and chit-chat level climbed rapidly, good fun.

just reading there that they calculate the cost of the olympics to be around 11 billion pounds, 11 billion for a bunch of overhyped, actually unpopular sports such as horse dressage and badminton that the media tells you you have to love because your patriotic.

that cameron stands there and says we've all got to pull together and we're all in the same boat yet he is going to give his mp's a 25%salary increase and hes just given some of the oil companies a tax break!

not all bad though, he only had to cut the welfare to disabled kids and the elderly (yes even the queen of england applies for the heating allowance, its not enough we pay for her rent and summer houses) to help, royal flotillas going past some of the poorest parts of london while shes waving at them at a cost of only 10.5 million.

we're all meant to embrace it as it it gives the nation hope and spirit, absolute nonsense, never mind though who cares about the kids with cancer, X FACTORS starting soon.

this country is a sad place, rant over had to get that out.

Well me for one really enjoyed the Paralympics as it showed no matter how bad you think your life is it's nothing like some of these people. And if your looking for some ill spent money then get some back from the walking stick dragging benefit claiming brigade who are nothing like disabled compared to some of the competitors in these games. ):

there is people out there that are playing the system thats for sure, always has been but the company cameron set up to weed these people out called ATOS actually costs more to run than if he had just left things alone!

dont forget that these paralimpios will all have to be assessed by ATOS if they are claiming and itll be interesting to see if after their performance will be declared fit to work as ATOS actually makes a significant profit for every person they declare does not need help, i liked how cameron put them as the paralympic sponsor only weeks after they stopped the benefits from a guy who was brain damaged in a bike crash and cant leave the house without guidance.

this government is a disgrace in the uk, but nobody seems to care.

Seventy billion quid per year is stolen from us by tax fiddlers; many of the culprits are those applauding the antics of Atos and their like.

My girlfriend has worked in the benefits system for 25 years and I asked her about ATOS. Yes ATOS appears to save less money than it costs but when you factor in the amount of people who simply sign off when they are contacted by ATOS, for whom they receive no payment, then the figures look very different. They are saving more then they cost. Yes we all know that the majority are genuine cases and you can always come up with a story of someone who has been badly treated but there are many working people out there with one leg or one arm or some disability who work day in and day out and contribute to the country. So anything that stops the cheats and the scroungers is fine by me.

You forgot to mention the sixty million quid per year they cost us to put right their wrong decisions via the appeals process. A bit like traffic wardens they have targets. How freaking absurd is that : http://benefitscroun...t-when-its.html Their target driven half arsed decisions have led some to suicide. For someone concerned about cheats and scroungers, RC, why the silence on the biggest scroungers of all by far: the tax cheats?

very funny how it all works and so predictable, remember comedian jimmy carr and his tax avoidance, cameron verbally went after carr and called him a disgrace but when it was found gary barlow had done the same thing cameron had "no comment".

reportedly barlow is right in with the torys and performs for the queen so it was all kept out of the main media, carrs wasnt though.

The MPs 'legitimate' claims for expenses are up again this time by 25% almost back to the hay day of a couple of years back when some were jailed for fraud. Claims for blackberrys, home improvements, pond cleaning, whorehouses and of course replenishing the Commons cellar etc all for a job where you don't require any qualifications.
The house of 'Hitler' continues to 'trough it up' in their stately homes.
The bankers continue their 'fingers in the till' fiscal strategy.
Oil and energy prices continue to rocket along with food prices.
But unemployment is down by 7000 (the O'limpic legacy of part time jobs now over).
The schools are up in arms as the GCSE results were cooked and as a result 143 schools are now deemed to have failed and the idiot Gove can turn them into workhouses for the poor.
11 billion wasted on a state sponsored drug taking extravaganza. :stoned:
Failing infrastructure that wouldn’t support an African bush village.
A Prime Minister and Chancellor (Chancer) that think they still jugging it up in the ‘Bully’.
The only manufacturing is assembling shoddy bikes from parts made in China.
Farmers living off the fat of the land or is it subsidies?
Offshore donors keeping the Tories in Krug.
A new retirement age disappearing faster than you can catch it.
Lucky Greece, they are going to have Frau Merkel save them with a seven day working week (they’d be better off being saved by Fred Merkel). It is estimated that Germany owes Greece 162 billion Euros in unpaid war reparations so come on Angela cough up (more chance of Britain having an honest politician).
So come on chaps it could be worse, cheer when you pay over 50% of your wages in tax (total), wave your union jack for Brenda, vote Tory, respect the local farmer, doff your cap to the old bent bill and don’t go to the quack if your ill, die, it’s cheaper.

Well let me break the silence then. I for one will put my hand up and say that I have paid cash to avoid VAT on work that I have had done in the past. This means I have assisted someone to avoid tax at some point in order to save a few pounds. Now I personally do not know anyone, and I mean anyone, who has not at some point done the same in some shape or form. Are we saying there is a level of illegal tax avoidance at which it becomes criminal ? If so it's a new one on me. The ones with millions who use the system to avoid paying tax may be immoral but it's still legal and knowing how most people are, given the same chance, they would pay as little tax as possible too. The system is the key and it needs to change.

Despite what the government and the Daily Mail have suggested, people paying their plumbers or whoever in cash constitutes a tiny fraction of fiddled tax. Avoiding tax 'illegally' is known as evasion and criminal charges can follow. Some sources claim 70 billion per year is lost through evasion alone. Billions more is fiddled by companies and the rich through their various avoidance schemes. The amount of money involved in purging benefit claimants is miniscule by comparison.

So what you are saying is it all depends on which newspaper you read as to what you believe is true. Lies, damn lies and statistics comes to mind.

Well would love to argue the point between the Daily Mail and the Guardian but I have to be off to my PAYE job that pays the tax man before I even see anything.

not intented to cause offence, but a few sayings i was sent in the last few days, thought i would share with you.

Live long, go slow, drive a 4 stroke...

Riding a 4 stroke is like banging a fat chick. Sure it's fun and feels good, but embarrassing when someone sees you.

whats the diffrence between a hoover and a 4 stroke motorcycle? where about the dirt bag sits

this is the current story for the planned moto gp in america

http://m.motomatters.com/node/6387

regarding the F1 i like how it says you are allowed to bring a sealed bottle of water in but you are not allowed to bring it in an ice box, gotta watch those chilled bottles of water, they are like grenades when incorrectly used and it may be a potential hindrance or threat, itll have obama reaching for the red terror alert warning.

bet that campsites wild on saturday night....

No guns

How could I defend myself against a Jihadist 'tourist' armed to the teeth with grenades, anti tank weaponary and a thermos flask. I say it's 'darn right undeemocratic'.

When I saw this I decided not to attend so I stayed at home and watched 'Doomsday Preppers' on the Discovery channel.

Now there's Yanks thinkin' right.

Do these people really exist or have the program makers run out of plausible folk like 'Ice Road Truckers', 'Gator Wrestlers', 'Moodshine distillers', 'People who think they are fish and live in a pond', 'Mormons', 'Branch Dividians', 'Republicans who think Mutt Rimney is intelligent', 'Nascar fans' to make programs about, or are these people real?

If they are then I'm heading for the cupboard underneath the stairs with a candle and a thermos flask of 'hot toddy'. Call me when it's safe to come out.

that whole list is brilliant though, its like its created to waive any rights you have as a person and be under their control, not allowed food in but i bet the inhouse burgers are the cheapest you will find! long gone are the days when all you had to worry about was if your dress denim was clean when attending meetings.

tony i can guarantee you these people do dwell the land, i know of 2 people who have built underground dwellings ready for doomsday, are they nuts or is it us?
