Power braking in F1

Among the electronic driving aids used around 1993 F1 was "power braking" by Mclaren. have you got idea what this feature does? :) (I suppose that this is not a case of "hydraulic brake")

McLaren's fiddle brake system was used (and banned) in 1998. The 1993 system would have to be something different. I don't know what that would be, though.

Just normal servo assistance, generated hydraulically not with vacuum.
