Rèle is the same as a contactor i think. Google says relay.

Usually it is one for ABS. When i took the drivers license whe took it out during the slippery track day (toyota Celica latest gen). to learn car behaviour and the gains on having ABS.

Ahh, that makes much more sense, thanks. Yeah, I've heard about people disconnecting the wheelspeed sensor on some cars to disable the ABS.
