The Trucks are at Texas for Friday night if the weather allows. Practice and qualifying was rained out, setting the field by points, and NASCAR made time for a impromptu 1 hour practice session Thursday night. Them Thorsport Boys looking good. No Cup guys.
Practice speeds here: http://www.jayski.co...texas-prac1.pdf
Lineup here: http://www.jayski.co...exas-lineup.pdf
Race starts late on the East Coast: 9:00 pm with possibility of showers.
As for Sprint Cup, there is a bit of uncertainty due to new pavement. 22 cars broke the track record and speeds as high as 211 mph going into turn 1 was reported.

(apartment hunting weekend)
Good to see no Cup regulars this week. Even though i know they're not eligible for points, their presence somewhat dilutes the Truck race for me.
As always, go Piquet!
Hopefully Reutimann gets a solid finish in the Cup #51. Top 5 would be killer.

Hey there is never a train behind PK. He is always at the tail of a train and just chilling, backing off a few lengths when people get a little racy in front.
Now he's in second.
I guarantee you if he gets to the point, he'll check out. But that won't help much with cautions probably coming. Just gotta be there at the end.

They only added fuel! That's all I saw, even though they listed him on the graphic as taking two tyres.Whatever they did to that truck, they need to undo it.
I'm going to take a shower so I'm fresh and ready for the end of the race!

Don't forget P4 Johnny. You know I was like man PK needs to start attacking and not be so conservative....then Ty goes and does that and I'm like heh. The other two most competitive trucks now knocked out! But NOW he has to race hard!

Great battle for 2nd there, and Sauter with some serious pace tonight.
So, 7 different winners in 7 races. Why is no-one blaming Pirelli?

Nice to see Menard up there, Edwards too - might be his day tomorrow ? I saw the autosport article about him feeling a bit of pressure to get a win.
