I'm trying to rebuilt the history of an Elva Mk5, chassis number 100/94.
http://www.fantasyju.....ax 4-Cylinder
It has been bought this year in the US, and is now undergoing a "restoration"
Thanks to the US log-books, i went back to 1995.
According to Mr. Mason list, early drivers where:
-Pete Cocoran
-Jim Ellis
But couldn't find anything.
Can anybody help
Many thanks

Did you get the original chassis? It was being offered by some guys in Montana or nearby.

Many Elvas and a few Mark Vs, but alas, not those drivers. If it helps to know who's listed, let me know.
I imagine you're familiar with David Bull Publishing's Elva: The Cars, The People, The History book?
Best of Luck. Beautiful car!

Not yet, we have to finish some arrangements

Your driver's names sounded familiar enough to have me check my two 1960 programs from Road America...

I don't know how many Mk 5 owners appear in the Elva book but in addition to Road America, there were plenty of them competing on the tracks in the Southern U.S.: In 1959 Dave Morgan and Art Tweedale ran them. In 1960 Mk 5s were also raced by Ed Costley, Chuck Dietrich, Charlie Kolb, Clint Lindberg and husband-and-wife Harvey and Patricia Gauntt.
