they already loose 10-15 seconds changing the damn wing, its penalty enough
It not a massive penalty if they're changing tyres while they're at it. Burno caused a collision but yet finished tenth and likewise Maldonado managed to cruise to the finishing line.

Reduce the width again.

How about dropping DRS and Pirelli? With the Pirelli's & DRS, the wonky wings are redundant in thier barn-door state.
Reduce the width again.

They lose time and places on track as well when recovering back to the pits. The penalty of a broken wing is plenty, no need to add something that could just result in cars sitting in the garage rather than being raced.

The last thing we need is another reason for drivers NOT to battle with one another.
Indeed. The only thing wrong with the front wings is their ridiculous width, which makes them more likely to cause contact with a rear tyre in a standard slipstreaming overtake.
You forget how ridiculous the current cars can look with the disparity in wing sizes. Like DRS, just a leftover from regulations made under a different era to boost overtaking.

Doubt it. Many teams try different wings for one or both cars over the course of each weekend. Would be a silly stat to track.
Would be interesting to know the race day figures. I think the number would be far lower than many expect. I know I was expecting to see a lot more incidents when the size of the wing was increased.

I think FIA should restrict pauses between races as this obviously leads to a lot of peculiar (mildly put) threads.
Just wait for the summer break.
