First time ever to a F1 event so very excited. Myself an dmy girlfriend are camping for whole weekend (Turning up on Thursday afternoon)

Is there any advice as to what to expect? I.e.

If it rains, will the campsite be a mud bath or have they planned for this?
Is it a festival atmosphere? I.e. are there any places to avoid if you want to actually sleep for a bit
can you choose the area you sleep in, or do you pitch your tent next in line depending on when you get there
Whens the best time to be at the main stage rather than the track itself.
are they enough shower/toilet facilities,
are the security guards over the top?
Can we have small camp fires/BBQ's
Whats security like? I.e. does stuff go missing/cars getting broken into?

Sorry if these seem obvious questions......

Any chance of a McLaren 1/2?

I have 3 day tickets for the F1 + camping at Woodlands.

My plan has been to arrive on the Thursday.

However, looking at my camping tickets, there are only ticket stubs for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Will I be able to access the site on Thursday???

Play safe and give them a ring.

How crowded is it by Thursday lunchtime anyone? We are in the families area and it's our first time at Woodlands having previously stayed down at the SRA for the last 10 years down in the village.
