I thought they still release a report showing how they found him guilty and what not?

What will be more interesting is now that he's 'wounded' if more people are comfortable coming forward.

The arbitration hearings won't happen. Armstrong announced he is not exercising the option of requesting an arbitration hearing. His failure to exercise the option is taken as an admission of guilt by USADA and they have officially stripped him of his accomplishments.

Yes but he's part of the same conspiracy (according to USADA) as Ferrari, del Morales and Bruyneel who have all elected to go the arbitration route. They're (USADA) are done with Armstrong but much of the evidence that would have come out in his hearing will come out in theirs. This thing is far, far from over - it's just getting good.

I don't normally deal in rumours but their were a couple of interesting things regarding the Allmendinger thing in last weeks' Oz paper, AutoAction.

A source was quoted as saying that Allmendinger has not yet started the Nascar rehab programme; talk about stupid.

Several sources say that Joey Logano is a candidate for the Penske seat in number 22. Another has popped up with Marcos Ambrose as a logical choice. Both are out of contract at year's end. Marcos is tightly tied to Ford where Penske is going next year. Both have nerarly identicaal records in Sprint cars with Ambrose having a small edge in average finishibg position and prize money. Besides, Penske has a record for picking Aussies that go quickly and keep their head down and have good public personna.

I said in another NASCAR thread, just to stir the pot, that I want Montoya in the 22 and Logano in the Target car.
