The announcement comes only one day after the dismissal of General Motors' CMO Joel Ewanick for what the Wall Street Journal reported was "failing to properly vet the financial details of a European soccer-sponsorship deal that he struck recently." Nevertheless, both parties expressed excitement over the new deal.

European Chevrolet's are abominations of cars, they have no business carrying the badge. I think the fact nobody buys them is the reason the money went.

And Daewoos were originally re-badged Vauxhall/Opels.Indeed they are re-badged Daweoos and nothing more.
