LMAO at Harvick slapping Brad on the cheek a couple of times and telling him "You sleep well tonight buddy"

I've seen half full bottles thrown out--we've seen super slo-mo of a Cup car's splitter hitting a half-full clear water bottle and creating a spectacular explosion.Don't most guys throw empty bottles out though? K's was still full. Too warm? Too brown?

And yes I reckon because it gets warm and they know then can get a cold one at the next pit stop.
Heck they sometimes get ice packs to put down their fire suits, and they throw those out once the ice has all melted.

Steven Leicht's car that didn't make the field? The PAC is called Little Joes Autos.com?
Maybe it was contingent on making the field? http://www.jayski.co.../2012/33cup.htm

More likely the lettering is in stealth black, so we can only subconsciencely see it.Musta fallen through like Jerry Springer sponsoring KuBu. That all black is badass though.

Check Gluck's Twitter timeline.
Apparently,
-Brad threw no fewer than three water bottles out during the race
-He claims he threw the last one 10-15 laps before the last caution
-NASCAR explicitly clarified that drivers throw water bottles from their cars all the time and that it's never a caution
ESPN was just stirring things up and Harvick, being the hotheaded idiot he is, took the bait.
Also, I've seen drivers throwing water bottles from their cars and they always just drop them out the hole next to the window net.
I've also seen NASCAR throw cautions FOR water bottles, pieces of foam, etc thrown from cars. The water bottle is an old trick dating back decades. Whether or not NASCAR threw a yellow last night for it is debatable, but they are flat out lying when they say its never a caution. Kevin Harvick was right in at least one part of his quote, "NASCAR throws cautions when they feel like it".
Changing the subject a bit, I just saw an excellent show on ABC called "Chasing Speed". It follows MWR and the 15 car as they build a car to be ran at Indy. It shows stuff from conception, construction, pit crew training, marketing, race day events and everything the teams go through on a week to week basis. Unfortunately, I can't find any replay information. MWR's website says it replays on ESPN on Sunday at 2:30 (it didn't) so I don't know if its next Sunday or what. If you can track down this show on Youtube, torrents, or whatever, do so. It's about the most inside look into team operations as you're going to get.

Baltimore, because you know it has the best chance for a breakout of crazy.
Though a Sunday Night NASCAR is good too, there's nothing else to do.
What what!
I'm going with Martin. Experience, steady hand, gonna get him through this tire wear.

Thanks - Watching from Toronto Canada, and I've been watching F1 since the late eighties.
I actually have only ever tried to watch one NASCAR race last year but couldn't get into it.
After seeing the NASCAR race threads on this site I enjoyed the conversations and attitudes
I thought I'd give it a go again.
I'll definitely have questions about the acronyms used in the thread.

Ye, it's quite something special. Even though I'm truly fed up with NASCAR, and doesn't watch atm. I still read the threads. It's far far away from the F1-style threads!

I wonder if the problem with these bigger tracks is not the speeds or the banking, but the size. So the cars get spread out. Evenly space cars are safer cars.
Imagine Martinsville going caution free. Exactly, you can barely do it.

I agree. What percentage of caution-causing incidents are single car (car losing control or losing a tyre or whatever) vs multiple-car ("racing incident" and related)?I wonder if the problem with these bigger tracks is not the speeds or the banking, but the size. So the cars get spread out. Evenly space cars are safer cars.

What was the longest string of cars running in numerical order (as I watch Bowyer-15 and Stewart-14 racing), either ascending or descending order. And which race.
