She had car problems in the races.
And she is learning as a driver.
Why shouldn't she be out there?

As it happens, in a race where she was the only person in her class, she failed to win her class.

SYNOPSIS OF KNOCKHILL
Traveling all the way to Knockhill was a pleasure on so many levels. I loved the stunning countryside, incredibly friendly people and of course the fabulous circuit itself.
Due to budget constraints I was unable to attend the dedicated Carrera Cup test session on Wednesday. As a result I had to learn the circuit on the fly during the official free practice sessions on Frida
y. But what a brilliant circuit it is! With so many technical and blind corners, it wasn't easy to pick up, so I was extremely pleased when on very old rubber I managed a time of 53.0.
Qualifying was also a challenge since (again to budget constraints) I could only use 1 set of tyres for the whole race weekend. My team and I decided I could only afford 3-4 laps so as to conserve my rubber. This proved to be a challenge given the short circuit creating severe traffic for the first 2 laps. But I did my best and was again very pleased when I managed to qualify ahead of one of the ProAm-1 drivers!
Race 1 I was left stranded on the start line when my starter motor failed as the grid took off for the green flag lap.
The marshals kindly pushed me (up hill!) into the pits where my team were able to assist in bump starting my car.
Despite the glitch I joined after the start and eventually caught up to and overtook one ProAm-1 driver before a drive shaft broke just after the first corner sending me into a spin. It was devastating not being able to finish the rest of the race.
Race 2 I face more bad luck when my gear box failed. I was desperate to finish the race for points so dragged myself around as best I could given the gear issues.
All in all a frustrating weekend but I've come away grateful for the opportunity to have visited such a wonderful circuit which I will look forward to racing on again sometime.
Thanks to my team sibsport/Redline racing for their hard work and my sponsors Zoom Media and RMA Track days.
And finally a huge thank you to my wonderful supporters. As always I'm hugely grateful for your lovely comments and continued support!

Anybody at Knochill this weekend witness the abysmal performance in the Porche by Tania Mann?!? It was almost like she couldn't reach the floor so wasn't pressing the accelerator fully. It devalues the series in my opinion to have someone so obviously crap spending the weekend being a mobile chicane. Awfull. Suprised the guys don't complain that she's a danger. She's gorgeous, i'll give her that, but that shouldn't give her an immediate pass to race. Her mechanics must be very patient, knowing that any of them could jump in the drivers seat and go far far quicker.
I can feel the red glow of your embarassment all the way from here - I think you owe the lady an apology.
