Hi. Every year from 1948 to 1955, Mario Fenocchio and Dominico Fenocchio competed in the Mille Miglia, driving a number of Fiat derivatives (Siata, Giannini, Stanguellini, Gilco).
Does anyone have any information about these drivers? Especially, were they related, and was Domenico the same Dominico Fenocchio who was Italian motocross champion in the same era?
Regards
Chris

The Italian Wiki page on Domenico Fenocchio the motocrosser says that he took part in the Mille Miglia four times:

but according to his results listing on the Racing Sports Cars site he took part seven times:
http://www.racingspo...enocchio-I.html
Checking through the relevant Mille Miglia results on the WSRP site shows that he and Mario were the only drivers named Fenocchio competing in the race, so I think it must have been the same man. No info on the relationship between Domenico and Mario, but as they competed together so many times they must surely have been related in some way.

Like you, I think that they must have been related, but cannot find them in any of my reference books.
Thanks again

Chris, thanks for the additional info on Mario. However, the results for him on the Racing Sports Cars site are slightly different to the ones you quote:
http://www.racingspo...enocchio-I.html
They show that in 1950 his co-driver was L Calfi and in 1955 it was Oscar Perron. This is corroborated by the Mille Miglia results on the WSRP site.
