Good answer to a stupid question (I means Kimi's answer to nat's question!)

Really, why?

If you destroy somebody's lap, you shouldn't say "I don't care".Really, why?

I know his fans are totally crazy for him and they approve absolutely everything he does, but come on.It's Kimi, why are you surprised? That's why he is awesome.

As if he dit it on purpose! I think it would be hypocritical to say he's sorry. After all and above all, he destroyed his lap.If you destroy somebody's lap, you shouldn't say "I don't care".

it's not like he did it in purpose...plus it's not his fault that others didn't make their q3 laps sooner
Vettel called to stewards for blocking Alonso...so we might see penalties coming..

Lots of moralist there. He can say whatever he fits to say. I'd pick Kimi over corporate robots at any time. Besides, he didn't do it on purpose. It was just one of these things. If you destroy somebody's lap, you shouldn't say "I don't care".

He should have said at least "accidents happen".Lots of moralist there. He can say whatever he fits to say. I'd pick Kimi over corporate robots at any time. Besides, he didn't do it on purpose. It was just one of these things.

No, you should apologize to other drivers, viewers at home and to Bernie for ruining the end of Q3. And then you should remember to thank the sponsors.
Funny how people complain about drivers all talking only corporate bs and they also complain when someone is being honest.

The first mistake, when he spun into the corner is reasonable, it happens; but to go flat out over the astroturf and try to continue the lap was incredibly moronic. There was no way he was going to make up the time.

And to those who say they prefer drivers who speak their minds, isn't it just common courtesy to say you're sorry or even something along the lines of "I regret affecting their laps" or something similar? If you stepped on someone by accident, would you apologize? Or would you just say I don't care cause it's an accident and it's not my fault?
Kimi fans, expecting decency isn't too much really.

Neither did I. Imagine if Grosjean said after Spa, "I don't care about the others". Nobody would have praised him for his honesty for sure.I never complained about drivers being PR robots.

Way too over the line. How in the wide world could you dare to compare people's lives with a hot lap in quali?Neither did I. Imagine if Grosjean said after Spa, "I don't care about the others". Nobody would have praised him for his honesty for sure.

Kimi apologized after hitting Sutil in Monaco a few years ago. In THIS situation however, he probably cares much more about his own ruined qualifying than the others.

Hitting other cars and almost taking a head off from points leader for sure is a same thing that making a mistake and driving on to the gravel

Why Kimi or anybody else should care? He didn't crash on someone or ruined him directly. Is the same situation in race when you crash and you bring the SC out. Should I care? I already got ruined myself.
I agree with you. If you make a stupid mistake and put yourself into the gravel, the indirect consequences of the flags you triggered are not your fault and you should not care.

Plus, in qualifying teams and drivers know the risk of going out at the last moment is that you might not get a lap in if something happens. It's a risk they decide to take. Why Kimi or anybody else should care? He didn't crash on someone or ruined him directly. Is the same situation in race when you crash and you bring the SC out. Oh, did he hurt your iddy bitty feelings? Get over it. If anything it's a good laugh, he didn't cause any major damage. If he had spun on purpose I would understand, but this is just overly dramatic.

Sounds like you have never seen an interview with Raikkonen before. He is who he is. No surprise there. Sure, comes of a bit rude. But he is honest. "Decency" or "courtesy" doesnt change a damn thing about what happened. He was most likely mad like hell at himself, so that probably didnt help his demeanor.+1

A: I don't care about the others.
