I repeat, he doesn't have to apologize for anything, just act like a grown up. He was asked a standard question which did not need to be a complicated in answer. No need to be rude to the journalist or treat viewers like idiots.
if it's really because of that then why the outrage NOW?
we had so many "interviews" with Kimi where he pulled off those one-liners that dont tell you much.
no one cared, and no one still cares.
it's not about his "I spun" one-liner, it's about the comment after that, that comment started the whole mess that we're in right now...
and that's why the picture is accurate, he said he doesnt care, and people go nuts over it, calling him rude, which implies they think he SHOULD care, which then implies he SHOULD apologize.
there even was a list of one-liners and "stupid" interview answers he ever gave, people found it funny and Jeremy clarkson even quoted one of this answers when Kimi was on top gear.
no one gave a sh**t back then and no one does now, only the fact that he coupled it with "I dont care about other drivers" made it possible to even discuss this in a dedicated thread...
edit:
I also find it hilarious that all the people that generally speak negative about Kimis career/speed/qualifying/whatever also somehow manage to sync up and think the same way on this issue, as if his attitude with the press/other drivers has any relation to his performance(or non-performance in their eyes) on the track.
truly shows that none of them are able to judge him objectively, they let their feelings for the particular person win over rational thought.
