My Autosport sheet mentions John B, but nothing specific about the JDC team, and there was obviously nothing in the MN report about the DRW so I did not copy it. Perhaps someone with Autocar/Motor/Motoring News might chack to see if there is any mention.
I have an old 750MC contact who might be able to help.

TedIve got a programme sitting in front of me what do you want to know ???????
According to JDC Year Book 1980/81 their team (2) ran a "D" and an "E" plus I don't know what else. The E type was E141, as you are aware, I am trying to trace the full history for its present owner. I don't know who was driving it in that race if, indeed, the book got the right year. However from the foregoing info from Roger (Clark) there was no D, but Allan recalls the Hon in a D as I do but unlike Allan i mainly associate him with a Lister (didn't he have a Corvette engined car?)

I have just taken a magnifying glass to the photo I mentioned earlier, the D is 502, Reg MWS 302 ex Ecosse of course. Who had it in the 60s?

Was it David Wansborough?. ISTR he moved from a Falcon Climax spl to a D type in his early days. Perhaps Ted can clarify. ISTR that there was a very useful group of those chaps with a selection of cars from '62 onwards.
My mistake was looking for notes on a JDC team.........

I believe Wansborough may have driven it, but I think it after Ecosse ownership passed to Maurice Charles and then on to Jack Alderslade.
Unfortunately I am away from my copy of Andrew Whyte's book at the moment which would provide the full, conclusive story.

Without a race team entry list it was very much a long shot, throwing a name for whom the 750 relay might have been a suitable event, into the equation .Confirmed
Not sure about any Wansborough connection though

It's not very often you can say an obituary is an enjoyable read. She sounds quite a characterWith discussion about "Wrotters", although I have aired it previously and it is a little OT, I attach below a link to the glorious obit to Richard Wrottesley's step-mother.
