Prost shouldn't be getting in an F1 car, he has done nothing in single seaters.

Gary Paffett deserves a place in F1

Ant deserves another crack, he's still used by Mercedes. Rather insulting to say he can make a good living in sportscars. He did all the hard work for Honda for years, if it wasn't for that groundhog in Canada he'd still be in F1.

Talent is what the talent spotters should be looking for ,regardless of age. Dr Helmut Marko would have lost his job years ago if he'd been a football scout. He's been employing League One drivers when the next Messi or Ronaldo has been staring him in the face!
Maybe finally MArko is realising that he has to look outside his chosen few?

Carroll and Filippi can step in a car and be instantly quick. What does it say of the GP2 field when Luca can get pole having been out of the series all year and Carroll did the same last season in FR3.5 & AutoGp. They aren't too old, better to have a fast, wise and skilful driver rather than a fast and unproven one taking out the field like Grosjean and a number of the GP2 field.

They were both well ahead of Perez, Kobayashi, Karthikeyan, Chandhook, Pic, Buemi, Alguersuari and D'Ambrosio when they got drives.

Have a word with the Autosport scribes they constantly question why Carroll is not in F1 and read James Allen's excellent article on the problems F1 faces with the way new drivers are being chosen.

Based solely on what I've seen over the last few years and I was talking about talent that's been overlooked.
There just happens to be more Brits that have been overlooked, the Young Drivers schemes until this season with Calado have been Brit free for years.
Filippi is worthy of an F1 drive given his speed in his rare appearances this year.

Don't get me started on the pay drivers and that includes Chilton, a Brit

Yes there have always been pay drivers in F1 but that doesn't mean it s right. F1 is supposed to be the best drivers, the best cars and the best teams but we only have some of the best drivers. I just want to see all of the best and drivers getting rewarded for their talent not the funds they bring.

For the record, my favourite driver of all time is Elio De Angelis, an Italian followed by Johnny Herbert. The best driver of all time is Senna, Brazilian. Overrated driver of all time, I'll let you guess that one!

Just a shallow comparison between the "young" drivers times and the official drivers. I wouldn't took too serious, but still quite interesting to observe.

damn, Prost jr. has a big head. nearly half of the airbox covered!

Any idea on what is what the teams are testing in this test? ie. not the drivers, but what components; and could this be a blow to Ferrari's hopes for the final two races, given that both RedBull Racing and McLaren are running their cars for the next three days?
