Motorsport Explorer: Published August 2012

This book was released in August and a number of reviews and personal messages to me from readers made it clear that an index was called for. Due to printing problems the book was withdrawn from sale but has now been reprinted and is once again available. Sadly it was not possible to include an index in the second printing, due to the urgency of the reprint.

I understand that sales of motor books have been disappointing over recent months, and only a relatively small number of copies have been sold (550/3,000). This makes the likelihood of a revised printing with corrections and additions, plus an index an unlikely event in the foreseeable future.

I have therefore indexed the places and a copy of the index is available as a PDF file to readers who would like to send me an e-mail, which includes the answer to this question:
What is the error in the photo caption on page241?

Please send an E-mail to: hunt4us@btinternet.com and mark the message "Index".

A briilliant piece of work and the fact that only relatively few people have bought so far it is testament not to the book's quality but to the fact that so few real motor sport enthusiasts (as opposed to Effone fanboys) are around.

What is it about?

It's here and we discussed it in the Book Thread where I wrote "More details about more motor sport venues of the British Isles than you would think possible, beautifully presented"

Yes but of mainly British interest of course. You have the opportunity to do the same for Germany - if there's a publisher who would back the book!

I bought Motorsport Explorer when it was first released and have enjoyed it very much. It is right up my alley. I'd be very interested in the index as it will make it much easier to find specific venues. Unfortunately, I am in the dark as to what 'error' you are refering to...

Perhaps you might be so kind to ask a different question?

Thank you Fuzzi, I will send you an e-mail.

Meanwhile, D-Type has kindly taken the time to explain the answer to your original question to me. Ta!
