Hi, seeing as Whitmarsh works for McLaren since 1987 I believe, I tried to find a picture of him with Senna but couldn't find one anywhere.

So here's a challenge: any pic with Whitmarsh and Ayrton Senna in the same shot.

Some sources suggest 1989 is when Martin left BAE to become "Head of Operations" at McLaren could it be Martin's presence was either not required at the track when he started or that he was working in the, IMHO, better drivers garage ?

Well either way, I have looked for and not found a single pic of Whitmarsh with Senna, Prost or anything Marlboro.

Had he been working on the better side of the garage he would have been with Ascanelli and Senna no?;)

Did he actually move to McLaren in 1987 or was he still working as liason between McLaren and BAe? I know he came to BAe Warton to give a talk to the workforce after he moved to McLaren but that was later than the Senna/Prost era.
