It's hard to imagine this race putting on a show as stunning as last week's. As the season winds down, the stakes get higher.

Another triple header with all three series racing at the same track. Anyone got info on who's doing doubles/triples?

I expect Hornish and Kyle Busch will be doing both Cup\Nationwide. Not sure about Danica.

I see. Any thoughts in the Cup championship? Is JJ unstoppable? Or will BK get his first title?

I'm rooting for BK but Jimmie is certainly the favorite.

But I tell you what, that BK kid, he's got heart. The word "quit" isn't in his vocabulary. Jimmie is just a cyborg.

JJ and BK (which always make me think Burger King) crashin early, ending up 40&41, while Bowyer wins the race in front of Gordon!

Oh, I can dream...

Piquet fastest in final Truck practice.

2. #7-Parker Kligerman
3. #3-Ty Dillon
4. #17-Timothy Peters
5. #29-Ryan Blaney
6. #18-Brian Scott
7. #19-David Mayhew
8. #27-Ryan Truex
9. #13-Johnny Sauter
10. #22-Joey Coulter

In case it was missed in the NASCAR thread. Vickers is confirmed for a full-time program in NW with Gibbs next season, Pastrana reportedly a deal with Roush for a full season alongside Trevor Bayne, and Joey Coulter is moving to KBM.

I hope Piquet will get another top 3 this weekend, maybe a win.
Someone knows if he will race the truck with that tag heuer brand again, it was beautiful last week...

5.28 average finish for Johnson here, for context, that's actually slightly better that his 5.5 at Martinsville (thanks to one 35th in 2002)

Shocker, Motors Tv will air the Nationwide race live as well as the pre-race show (they dont always air the pre-race, not that it's much of loss)

That may be the championship clincher for Buescher.

I get embarrassed on behalf of the American nation every time I hear a "Singer" at a sporting event mangle the American national anthem - Surely there must be someone in the US who can actually sing in tune.

We could lend you Katherine Jenkins, in fact, you can keep her if you want to.

Will be able to watch tomorrow. Anyone care to send me a PM with a streaming link for the race? Or advice on where to look?

Justin.tv blocks all the streams now right? Thanks!!!!

wow, just 4 posts for the Nationwide race, and 3 of those were discussing the terrible rendition of the national anthem.
I wasnt really following it truth be told, seemed to be plenty of action going on though so hopefully we'll see a decent sprint cup race tomorrow, and maybe i'll see the end of it too (turned over around 3/4 distance).

lol, and then theres 3 posts in a matter of minutes :D

PNSD, i'll send you a PM of the 2 i've had sent to me in the past, hopefully they're still working but when i tried for the stream on the usual one about 30min beforehand it just came up with a 'server not found' in the stream window, not sure if thats terminal or i was too early (or too late, saying same thing now).

Sadler should just stick to the banked portion of the track from now on. It's a shame Stenhouse will win it again, I really can't stand him since the way he raced for the ARCA championship.

the end was eventful...

It was anti-climatic. One car even managed to spin a couple times without hitting anything.

I have no idea what sort of configuration the cars were running, but the smallest of tap or just getting an inch inside the grove was enough to cause problems, same happened in the truck race. Tomorrow's race may have a big wreck involving one of the contenders.

I was at this huge warehouse type gym showing the lady how to use some of the machines and keeping an eye on the race which was on 2/10 of these huge screen TVs. At one point I was facing a mirror on the other side of the gym and glanced up and for a split second I was like 'HOLY CRAP THEY ARE TURNING RIGHT.'

I got on a recumbent bike directly under a different TV showing the race and with the red flag, it worked out perfectly that my 30 minutes ended almost at the chequered flag.

Man, E-Sad totally lost that championship. Just completely unable to keep it together when it mattered in qual OR the late stages of the race. It's sad--he's just not championship material. It's sad because he's a decent driver and seemingly a good guy.

I was watching at a friend's place.. I can only presume that "country singer" means the lady sings in the country, far away from anyone else - I certainly hope so anyway.

What is it with Sadler, championships and this track ?

I thought once Brad got to the front it was a done deal, but that restart just killed him, hopefully he'll use what he learnt in cup later today.

Looks like that sun will be a problem again this week as it was in Texas. Going to have to watch that outside line too as the track didn't seem to grip up through yesterdays race.

About 2:25 until green.

Same movie as last race. I fear it will be the same today. Brad's only chance is that JJ stays too conservative and ends caught up in a late incident.

The stream isnt great for this race, its almost exactly 2min behind what im seeing on TV, however thats just the pre-race which is free-to-air and goes off in 5min.

At least with racebuddy you can rewind it back and just play it slightly delayed to mesh with a web-stream, but its annoying when the live leaderboard is accurate to a matter of seconds when your 2min behind live :(

And what the heck is that 'Chicken Sausage' that McDonalds are selling on their breakfasts?? Its one thing to call it a sausage if its pork based but flattened into a patty, but its neither pork nor sausage shaped, so surely its just a chicken patty!!??
