A distraction for him perhaps? F1's 'megastar' of the future, with Music, Movie roles, as well as powering Mercedes to WDC and WCC

Wonder if Jacques will feature on any tracks.

As said in the quotes by Angel, he uses it to blow of steam off the track so why not? Let him be who he wants to be and let him do what he wants to do, its his life and he certainly doesn't seem distracted to me when he's driving.

Hamilton is a huge fan of poetry. He's often posting poetry excerpts on his twitter. No surprise that he would enjoy writing music.

Considering the ineptness he's surrounded by in his day job, I'm not surprised.

Very mature...

Its not a big issue, he already plays the guitar so he obviously has an interest in music, and its clearly not had an effect on his ontrack performance.

Why is this its own separate thread?

10 Cars (Gary Numan)

But next year he certainly wont be singing
"I'm in Love with My Car" - Queen

The machine of a dream, such a clean machine,
With the pistons a pumpin', and the hubcaps all gleam.
When I'm holding your wheel,
All I hear is your gear...

You mean like the millions of teenie girlies when they experience their "I will love you forever" phase? Maybe he also takes these unique special instagram pictures from himself in front of the mirror.

Not counting the likes of De Angelis, Sutil and Cevert (who were more classical pianists than they were pop stars) who else has had a go at the pop thing? Apart from:

Silm Borgudd: http://www.f1rejects.../biography.html

Johnny Claes: http://en.wikipedia....ki/Johnny_Claes

& Jacques Villeneuve.

Yeah that's right, the poor guy was going to retire to take up opera full time but was killed in his last race.

When I saw "another new track" I thought this thread was about Hamilton beating some record at COTA.

I believe the word you're looking for is ineptitude. I correct you out of appreciation of irony rather than sheer pedantry.

I (and Google) see "ineptness" as an endemic characteristic, a trait, whereas "ineptitude" as more a real world manifestation of ineptness. So in the case of McLaren 2012 I think both are acceptable.

Did that once. Having 'verified by Visa' in place was a godsend believe me. The bugger tried to ring up £5k on it before I cancelled the cards.

Every DNF Counts.

Is it Because I Am Black Celebration.

Question of $100 Million Dollar Fine.

McLaren, Never Let Me Down Again.

Enjoy the Silence (When the Gearbox Breaks).

Policy of Truth (Unless Towards the Stewards).

Useless Pitstops.

Strategy, It's No Good.

Only When I Lose My Front Wing.

I Don't Feel Loved.

Is there 5 grand's worth of stuff in Croydon worth buying? I'd value the whole place, including contents, at £226.53, not a penny more.

When the rubber left the road -- this will surely be a #1 single!

Lost sparks in my cylinders

My buttons pushing me

Massa in my eyes

Hit the road Ron!

I gots the wrong wings

I and improve my offer to 225, having worked in the vicinity only yesterday I'd say it's worth a pound less.
