Who do you want to win the WDC?

Where have you been living the last 2´9 years? Under a rock?

Where I've been living in the last years or the logic of asking me that here is no argument and has no relevance.

You REALLY need me to explain that one?? Isn´t it clear enough? That´s the time Alonso has spent blatantly trying to downplay Vettel.

In 2011 Vettel didn't deserve the title because he had a rocketship
In 2010 Vettel didn't deserve the title because Alonso was very unlucky to get stuck behind Petrov
In 2009 Button didn't deserve the title because he had an illegal car which was dominant
In 2008 Hamilton didn't deserve the title because he was just extremely lucky that Glock didn't make it till the end on those tyres
In 2007 Raikkonen didn't deserve the title because Hamilton was told to switch off his engine

...

Therefore, no matter the WDC outcome, the winner eventually will not deserve the title.

Both Vettel and Alonso have had outstanding seasons. However after seeing Vettel's excellent run from 24th to 3rd in Abu Dhabi vs Alonso being unable to cope with Raikkonen in a Lotus when it really mattered I would say that Vettel is showing that he is the more deserving driver this season.

So because of one race Vettel is the more deserving driver? I doubt anyone would have won that race in the Ferrari if Alonso couldn't do it. The Ferrari car just isn't quick enough.

That drive from 24th to 3rd was completely because of the safety car as well. It was a good drive from Vettel (other than running into stuff under the first safety car ), but without the 2nd safety car there is no way he would have finished on the podium.

I have watched, listened and read about Alonso in all aspects and points of his racing life for the last 8-9 years and done the same for Vettel in the last 5-6. During that time I have come to the definite conclusion that Sebastian Vettel is a much "better" person than Fernando Alonso, if one can quantify such thing.

Anyone but Ferrari. So Vettel it is.

The choice was Vettel or Alonso. It's kinda difficult to claim one has performed better than the other this year so I choose Alonso for the reason given in my previous post.
But come to think of it, I would love for Pedro to win it next year.

Probably Fred. He's a classy driver... And he deserves another title given the value he has added to the sport....... Although his car is not the shitbox that everyone makes it out to be.

This is exactly why I hope he doesn't get it.
If he hadn't been playing politics as much, I wouldn't mind him winning, as his performance this year is deserving of this, but because he's tried so hard to make everyone believe the Ferrari is a shitbox, he blew it with me. People's memory of history is already often slanted, so the last thing I want is this image of 'Alonso winning the title in a Minardi' incorrectly going down into history.

No with that logic it should be Fry or Newey

I want Alonso to win it but the RBR looks so far ahead that I expect Newey to take his - 8th? 9th? - WDC of the last 20 years.

Poor desilussional people thinking Mansell and Hakkinen were great drivers. Poor people thinking Prost has more titles than Senna.

It would be nice to see Alonso get at least one earned title.

Probably Lotus, Red Bull and Mclaren were faster than Ferrari in Abu Dhabi, so improved from 6th to 2nd is a very good result.

Start in 24th position, helped with accidents, 2 SC's .. only overtaking HRT's, Toro Rosso's and Force India's ... even with 2 major fault in race, plus one in qualifyng, your teammate qualifyng better than you with less fuel ... The last SC let him with new soft tires against 3 worse cars with old with hard tires with 13 laps in front and he was unable to overtake button over 10 laps, losing the opportunity to win the race and finish the championship ...

Even with this im not blaming Vettel, but i dont understand how you blame Alonso for start 6th and finish 2nd overtaking Mclaren's and Red Bull's and praise on Vettel only for his great result.

Lotus was slower, he got past Button when he was pushed wide in turn 1, Vettel had his penalty and Hamilton retired. Only good thing he could be credited for is getting past asleep Webber in lap 1.

Before the first SC Kimi was 4 second over Alonso in 9 laps.
When SC gone, Kimi take 5 seconds over Alonso in 5 laps before Hamilton retires.
From lap 20 to lap 27 Kimi improved from 5.33 to 7.71.

After their pit stops the gaps still in 7.42 and Kimi raise the gap to 9.25 in the lap 39 before 2nd SC.
After the SC Kimi take anothers 3 seconds from lap 41 to 46.

Only in the last 7 laps Alonso was quickets than Kimi, reducing the gap from 3.5 to 1.5 .. and you think Lotus was slower?
