Yes, indeed, but does it smell of lemon?

What a lovely device!

Thank you! Here's the model in its entirety.

It's radio controlled of course, not quite a scale model as I made it up as I went along, it embodies features of several full-size steam yachts, but it's mostly based on Camper & Nicholson designs. It's 1090mm long and weighs around 6kg, all entirely scratch built, including the fibreglass hull. All my own work apart from some of the final paint job, a friend did that for me, he grew tired of seeing the boat making glacial progress in my workshop over several years and spray painted the hull for me, mainly so that we could both see it sailing in our lifetimes.

Apologies for showing off, now back to photographic home processing...

Coo, I bet the maiden voyage was rather tense. It's absolutely beautiful.

No, no! That's fine - just the sort of diversion we like here. That's some lovely work.

The processing was in Sydney - not known for too much in the way of water quality issues (other than some parasites like Giardia and Cryptosporidium). And it was a professional lab. So I'd say they just mucked it up.

Kayemod, that is absolutely spectacular work!

Personally, I think it fits perfectly within the thread.
