It was genius how he pinned Kyle to the wall to prevent his run.
It reminded me of Kurt vs Ricky Craven in that [even more] epic finish at Darlington in 2003.

Denny Hamlin (@dennyhamlin) tweeted at 5:08 PM on Fri, Nov 16, 2012:
hey @keselowski, would this be a bad weekend for me to pay you back for all those times you wrecked me? i mean i do owe ya a couple.

Saw it, but he was joking, so. . .I'm guessing no one here saw this:

It's a shame that we will be without this races until next year.
Piquet from 12th to 4th, amazing restart with 4 new tires!
In the last lap when Kyle and Cale collided I thought isn't the last lap. So we would have another prorogation...But soon after that I woke up
Great win from Cale Gale, Kurt bush face was hilarious in the post race interview.
James Busher was the guy with more victories so it's a well earned championship too.
First year that I was so close to the Trucks series and I love it.

4 Poles
2 Wins
9 Top 5's
15 Top 10's
He had a few horrible finishes due to crashes that really pulled his results down.

Yeah he still needs some seasoning to become a legit championship contender.Pretty good season for Piquet jr.

I agree. He just won the 2012 Pole Award for most poles, had wins in 3 series and a very strong run toward the end. You've got to think Turner and co are happy enough to bring him back.
Early season DNFs hurt him though. Maybe finally getting to VL in the series has settled him down. He's been pretty good since.
Those 5 DNF's are way more than anyone else in the Top 10. Heck, even JWT had only two.
But to put a positive spin on it, 5 DNF's and 15 Top 10's means he finished, when he finished, only twice outside of the top 10 all year.
I'm glad to have watched this season and followed it closely. 2013 is going to be epic.
BTW for anyone who didn't catch Cale Gale's badassery last night, check this out. (Play it again, Piquet fans, and watch Nelson's last run off the re-start. Pink Truck, 6 rows back, high-side. Impressive.)
How can you not root for the kid after this post-race interview. Polar opposite of the Silver Spoon.

Busch on pole at Homestead-Miami Speedway: #54-Kyle Busch won the Coors Light Pole for the Ford Ecoboost 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway with a speed of 167.984 mph.
Rounding out the Top 10 are:
#2-Elliott Sadler
#3-Austin Dillon
#6-Ricky Stenhouse, Jr.
#18-Joey Logano
#31-Justin Allgaier
#11-Brian Scott
#88-Cole Whitt
#00-Blake Koch,
and #5-Regan Smith.
Apparently a big pile up in Cup practice forces pole-sitter Logano, Denny Hamlin and Greg Biffle to go to back-ups.
Keselowski now shifts up to the 'pole-spot', but Ambrose starts off the proceedings from the outside line.
An easy early bonus point for BK for leading a lap, surely.

Good point.
The Hamlin joke kind of fits what I was referring to earlier. He did retaliate on this very track in Nationwide a couple years ago after saying he would a week earlier. BK on in car afterward "Didn't even hit anything, that boy will never learn." DH raced him pretty hard late last week to keep him from getting back to the lead, which ultimately led to the pit stop and chain that dropped him back in the field. Had Johnson not had his problem and they wound up virtually even on points going in to tomorrow I think history and some vets possibly being rankled at an upstart grabbing a title could have played a role in how he was raced compared to the open doors for TS and CE last year.

All to the back, Hamlin and Biffle got together in practice and took Logano out.
Don't know what happened to Smith.
What do we all think of the livery changes for next year ? And the possible digital cockpit ?

I like the driver's last name being displayed on the top of the windshield idea. What do we all think of the livery changes for next year ? And the possible digital cockpit ?
Trying to think who has the longest surname in NASCAR right now. I wonder if they'll let Tony Stewart use 'SMOKE', or Mark Martin 'EPIC SWAG' lol.
Better yet, who's going to have it printed backwards, for the intimidation factor?

Odds on the first NASCAR driver to change their last name to a sponsor?
They wouldn't do that.. would they ?
On a semi related note I wonder if Scott Speed introduces himself by saying I. Am. Speed. in a CARS type way ?

I know what your thinking - "screw Denny"... but i know your kidding, you joker you. But really your thinking "i've got a time machine, but someone else with one will offer to do it, so i wont bother", dont sit back and do nothing, fire up that time machine and put it to good use, maybe we could go back a little further and convince Danica to stick to just doing GoDaddy adverts & photo shoots, and explain the term 'wrecking' to her, so she understands its her opponent she's meant to take out not herself, a bit like she was doing when just trying to race cleanly with them half the season.
So, who's with me!??
Time wasters need not apply, Time travellers only please.

Now, JP. What moves are we making to make sure the only air we're catching next year around this time is up in that huge tower at COTA?

Of course, you would want it during the day, when everyone is asleep.
(Just checking to see if posting is possible.)
(Possible--but sloooow.)
