What Ferrari should do is take a bulldozer to their wind tunnel.

Or ship that bulldozer to Interlagos to save Alonsos championship. No, he shouldn't leave and he won't in the near future. As a Ferrari fan I love having him on the team.

But to a) For example, when he lost the WDC in 2010. That was mainly blamed on the strategy call that Ferrari made at Abu Dhabi. But if you look closely, ...
Yes, if you look more closely lietening at the radio-pit conveersation you will understand that was Alonso incharge of strategy that day and nobody in the pitwall had the balls to say him you are an idiot.

If anything, another season not winning the title at Ferrari, will make him keep trying again even harder.
Edit: I did not vote for any of the options.

Apparently some people fail to understand that the role of drivers in development was severely restricted when testing was limited. That puts Alonso´s car developing and team leading skills in whole new light, doesn´t it
Other than that, I have only heard nice things of Alonso's leadership skills since he joined Ferrari (which btw does not mean he is perfect in every sense). But I guess that some know better than those who work hand in hand with the guy.

Unfortunately, I have been convinced for many years now that he can not compete against VET and HAM in qualifying. And that is a very big weakness if you want to win races and WDCs.
It's not unusual to hear ALO fans asking to Ferrari to build a superior car, like it's not a coincidence if ALO is usually faster during the race(look at his career).
_
ALO has won the same(until now) numer of races(9) of RAI during his time in Ferrari. But RAI has won 1 WDC. So ALO needs to win this year WDC at least to be on par or superior.

Or overtaken Kubica off the track at Silverstone. He could have won 2010 if he hadn't bottled it with Petrov.

I don't buy it for a minute.Alonso must win this year WDC or in 2014 the new Ferrari driver will be VET, with ALO out of the team(remember what they did to MSC and RAI).

Even if you believe like i do that Alonso has performed briliantly this season there still needs to be the option of Ferrari need to drop Alonso to change direction.
That being said is fred leading Ferrari down a garden path or is Ferrari simply not able to design a fast car out of the box.
No idea but one thing is clear no other team is making as fast a consistant and reliable car as red bull have over the last 3 seasons.
