Silverstone '08 and Spa '07 laugh in the face of this win.
Surely you mean '08? And that wouldn't technically count as a win, would it?
I would say Lewis has had much more impressive drivers, Hungary '09 was a stunner for me

Is there a greater feeling for a F1 fan to see two great champions battling for the whole race in pretty much equal machinery. These guys were in a league of their own today. Can't remember the last time there was a 40s gap between the front runners.

Fixed it. Spa '08 would also have been among his best wins.

Still a brilliant performance!

Still a good win though, head to head against a 2xWDC on good form and comes up trumps

I never saw Hamilton as one of the best drivers on the grid, but today he surely was.
Really? To me he has always been an obvious part of the top 4.

He was excellent today, no dobut but not his very best.

I never saw Hamilton as one of the best drivers on the grid, but today he surely was.
I put him up there equal with Alonso after this season as the two best in F1 followed by Vettel.

still don't know how McLaren let him go...

Lewis most sensational win? Probably not but certainly a great one given how close the performance was between him and Vettel. He had to really fight for this victory and I am glad the tires allowed him to get on with racing as opposed to nursing tyres.
THIS. Absolutely, ever since 2 races ago where Hamilton was able to push all race like 07/08 without silly tyre management, just brings back memories of his former driving style. Especially, how he was taking unconventional lines through corners and angles to make up the gap to Vettel which Brundle alluded to.
Sky commentators also made a slight indirect dig at Vettel by saying what would a Hamilton+Newey combination look like. Reminiscent to what Alonso said about racing Newey

For me until today it will always be Spa 2008. The first car to cross the finish line regardless of what happened after that.
Whenever someone mentioned Spa 08 a part of me dies. I will never forgive the FIA for that race. It hurt me more than China 07.

Edit: oh yes, Spa 2008...another of Lewis's best wins, which he was robbed of. That is another race I'll never forget, I was on my feet screaming and shouting when Lewis passed Kimi. Sigh. The scary thing about that travesty is how close it came to robbing Lewis of the WDC. Whenever I think of how many races Lewis has won, I always want to add one on.

Great victory to show, when the car is there, he has everything that Vettel does. I can't remember a time where the Mclaren and Red Bull have been so close in performance in the last 3 years...
But Silverstone '08 will always be the special one for me.
Spain 11, Canada 11? They were really close there.

Please explain why Mclaren or how Mclaren was better to have than a Redbull so we can have some laughs please

Anthony Hamilton believes that his son's victory is the finest of his F1 career
For me, it is China 2008. He was phenomenal throughout the weekend. He was sublime. Yes, he controlled the race from the beginning, but still, there was not any driver on track on that day who could have possibly outclass him.

Only Fernando Alonso won it.No, easy win in clearly the best car, had he been better geared for the drs zone he would have passed way earlier.
