What do we want to see for 2013?

I would like, in no particular order:
-That Mercedes build a competitive car so that LH and NR can fight right up there.
-That SP does well at McLaren, challenging Button and getting podiums.
-That Williams improve their speed. PM seems to be a very fast driver and it would be nice to see them fighting closer to the top.
-I really wish Hulk does well at Sauber. He showed good consistency and promise this season.
-That Massa is able/allowed to take the fight to FA so that we can see more racing between Ferrari teammates.
-That teams get a quick grip on the new Pirellis so that they can focus more on pushing, less on trying to figure out tyres.
-That penalties take a smaller role in F1.
-Not been announced and don't believe it'll happen but would love to see changes in the parc ferme, and mandatory use of compounds rules.
-Would like to see aero changes applied to improve close racing.
-Would like FIA to be more strict with questionable moves like the one Ferrari pulled at Austin.
-That KK finds a seat.
-That Lotus gives Kimi a car capable of fighting for the WDC.
-More good circuits like Austin, less bad ones like Valencia.
-Japan, Brasil and Belgium to sign deals for the next 10 years.
Your thoughts?

- Perez faster than Button
- Slower Red Bull
- Better Mercedes and Hamilton fighting for podiums
- Kimi signs me autograph in Hungary

kimi for title hunt ... nothing more, nothing less
Haha, hadn't seen Kimi's comment. It looked like something one could do in a PS formula game. Brilliant.

Nice racing and exciting battles for 2nd will be nice too.
Can't imagine it'll be that straightforward though

The back of Jake Humphrey (thank GOD!)

Red Bull's dominance broken.
Perez to beat Button.
Webber to retire.
Maldonado and Grosjean to find consistency to go with their speed.
Sauber, Willliams and Force India to win races.
HRT to survive.
At least one of the rookies to be very impressive.

- McLaren to win the constructors' (because I like McLaren, Button and Perez)
- Lewis Hamilton to win races (because, frankly, I don't want him to be another Villeneuve)
- Massa not to win any race (because I said he wouldn't win again for Ferrari after what happened Germany 2010 and I don't want to be proven wrong)
- Kimi to finish second in the championship (because I like him but I like records being broken more)
- Rosberg to beat Hamilton (because)
- Barrichello to come back (who doesn't want this?)

Ferrari to have a fast car.
Mercedes to design another dog.
Rosberg to outperform Hamilton
Red Bull to have an equal good car.
Massa to win another race.
Perez to outperform Button.
At last.
Alonso to be 2012 WDC, and win his long overdue third championship.

Hahaha, nothing. However, if you are a Nascar fan, I can see how this might sound disturbing.

- RBR build a car that is not perfect and super, and it remains so for the whole season (resulting in, effectively, a season-long tantrum from Vettel)
- Webber gets the championship he so richly deserves
- More Alonso vs Webber greatfights at Spa
- Senna goes to Force India/another decent team and wins the wet race at Silverstone
- Mark wins Monaco again <3
- I never thought about it before but Schumi to NASCAR would be lol and great at hte same time
- Marcos wins an oval race!
- Marcos makes the Chase!
- Marcos WINS the Chase lol
- Mark Martin finally wins Daytona
- Craig Lowndes kicks booty at Bathurst again with Casey as his co-driver
- Craig Lowndes wins the championship
- Josh and Jason get chosen for Team USA at Worlds, kick some booty, and win back three spots for said Team USA
- while Artur wins the right to redeem himself for Russia, wins a silver medal, and proves that he really does have what it takes
- then Artur finally gets some favourable GP selections
- and Josh and Jason turn Senior for good with the latter finally landing the triple Axel
...whoops, sorry, motorsport.

webber do more than he has done with a car that has won the constructor's and driver's titles for the past three seasons.
ferrari have to deal with a fully functioning massa and the controversy that causes between him and alonso.
button fighting for the title again
will mercedes continue to underperform given their level of investment
a little more grip from the tyres over a little bit longer distance. just enough that the drivers can push a little bit more.

- Alonso or Webber WDC.
- Vettel's index finger broken.
- Lewis Hamilton out in Q2 regularly.
- No more Bahrain.
- No more KERS.
- Bernie retires.

- More interesting tires than the ones we had in couple of last races
- No HRT on the grid
- The two other backmarker teams showing even some signs of improvement
- WDC anyone but Alonso
- WCC anyone but Ferrari

- No more goofy "clarifications", be it technical or sporting
- Ecclestone to retire
- F1 sold to someone who is interested to see it as a sporting entity, rather then a token in Casino
- Torro Rosso being sold to an independent owner of RB
- Overhauling race stewardship system
- Stable Sauber
- Technically better AMG team
- Long term plan and stability in choices of racing tracks, so race promoters can do their job properly
- A new entrant purchasing HRT team, and ensuring sustained stability
- Removing Parc Ferme restrictions
- Tires out of headlines and in P4 in terms of importance on the racing grid
- 10000 km track related testing before a season kick-off (no more of races serving as substitute with underdevelopped cars)
- In-season regular track related testing to support ongoing car development
- May best man win (as long as Seb stays on the top of it)!
- Kamui finds a job and overhauls Perez comprehensively.
- No more Alonso/Button whines ("ask Charlie type") which are really embarrassing and tiresome

- Perez to justify his seat;

* Removal of all limits placed on KERS.
* No DRS.
* No parc fermé regs.
* No "both compounds" rule.
* No "start on tyres from qualifying" rule.
* Customer cars to be allowed.
* Freeing up of the technical regulations.
* More even distribution of prize money.
* No anthems on the podium.
* Single one hour qualifying session with unlimited laps allowed.
* Return to 10-6-4-3-2-1 points system.
* Removal of wings altogether or at the very least a spec low-downforce airfoil cross section.
* No more tarmac runoffs.
* Return to proper flags on the podium.
* No radios.
* Removal of testing restrictions.
* Get rid of the franchise model and allow anyone that meets the technical regs to try and qualify. Bring back prequalifying if necessary.
* Get someone with an ounce of common sense to rewrite the rulebook and get rid of the colossal number of grey areas.
* Single car teams allowed.
Not going to happen though.
