Btw TV series seasons start more or less when F1 ends and end when it starts so well.
I only want to spend sparse time in front of a TV. A dose of 3-4/hours week is good enough.

It's flown by so far. December was just a countdown to flying back to the UK for Christmas and (almost) New Year. I flew out at 10pm on the 31st and ended up next to a baby. Also, they didn't even tell us when New Year was because they wanted people "to be able to celebrate in the time zone you feel most comfortable."

Now that I have weekends again I've started cracking through my pile of books, finished one about Confucius a few days ago and halfway through Dark Pools, which I started reading in the airport and found surprisingly interesting. I also need to sort out Mandarin lessons.

So all in all I'm not missing F1, and by the time pre-season testing comes round in just a couple of weeks time I will be nicely refreshed and ready to dive back into the maelstrom again.

Sitting under an air conditioner watching cricket. Your winter may be freezing cold but here it's been over 38 C(100F) eight times this month, hottest 46C (115F), and still 10 days to go ! Roll on March.

Mine is going well. I've got an entire season of BTCC, DTM, WTCC, and the GT1 Series to watch. Plus Dakar.

Missing racing? There has already been Dakar, one WRC and one ERC round, together with two rallies in Norway, and Petter Solberg has done a little rally in Sweden!

Have to search the internet for good shows to watch; sometimes play a bit of xbox to set a new lap record for myself :p

Pretty well to be honest. I've been rewatching the GP2 & GP3 seasons on youtube and spending a lot of time of racing related design projects.

I am hoping karne has recovered, and gaining strength with each new day. Webber will need every help he can get. ;)

Tsk tsk Sakae... such blatant trolling. I am disappointed in you...

It's going rather slowly, actually.

For once I was almost happy when the F1 season was over - it felt overly long - but a few weeks ago I began having withdrawals. :)

Apart from a nice break in Spain over Christmas it's been a rubbish winter for us. Just found out our beloved cat has a terminal heart condition. Hope she can hang in there long enough for winter to break at least.

This snow sucks. Can't remember the last time the sun came out here.

This bit is dragging. Some testing and launching will bring some (limited) excitement.
10 days til MP4-28 though. ;)

Lots and lots of figure skating. Luckily I had lots of time to recover after Russian Nationals, the outcomes there caused headaches for many days. My ankle is better, and I am back on the ice, but not allowed to jump yet.

Now it is time for US Nationals, and I am preparing to cheer on more favourites! And Europeans also!
